A ARNOLD & ASSOC

The customer was very happy with the work after I fixed the damage.  However, A-arnold has yet to pay me in full.  I completed the work and invoice a-arnold on 11/9/2016.  They sent me emails that they would pay me in 2 weeks.  Finally after 3 months, I was payed half of what they owed me.  They paid me half of the invoice on 1/28/2016 and stated they would pay the other half in 2 weeks.  that was 2 months ago.  They certainly don't stand behind what they say.

We have utilized A.Arnold for 3 prior total moves since 1996. All were excellent experiences, thus this June we hired them again, with a very different result. With our estimate for this move, we were advised to have a few high value paintings crated by their chosen company, for needed protection. Payment was required ($261.00) in advance. Crater co. arrived finding A.Arnold packers already packed the paintings "like we always do", paintings were on the truck, movers refused to unpack. The $261.00 was not refunded. Also it was noted after the 2nd day of packing, our new wood flooring, in the entire 5000 sf home was totally destroyed, completely. A regional mgr came to evaluate, and was shocked at the total destruction. New owners were to move in a few days later. A.Arnold claims refused immediate repairs, advised them there were legal options being discussed by new owners if delays occurred. We opted to have the builder repair immediately, we paid the $4000.00 bill. A.Arnold's estimate was much, much higher. So, 3 months later we were reimbursed for the floors, not for the nonexistent crating..... The Baby Grand Yamaha piano that BOUNCED down the front porch stairs, no packing on it, it bounced several inches off the 'skateboard' it rode down the 4 steps, crashing onto the driveway.... guys really laughed at that, played it all the way up our 125 ft driveway, sounded awful. It's now in storage at A.Arnold, probably in the same condition as the floors, destroyed.....I would have stopped them, but in my shock and horror, I was also hearing my Great Grandmothers' China crashing & breaking while the two 'newbies' (55 & 74 yr old new hires) brought in to hurry up our scheduled 5 day pack, into a 3 day pack. Chaos is the only word to describe our move, with everything in storage with them, I fear receiving our belongings. Also, Melinda Carver in 'claims' ??? Never answers her phone, never, she must be busy....
Also, the 20 ft parcel of grass they destroyed was filled in & replaced by us, which allowed us to find our tools (hammer, etc) & antique (now broken) jar, with it's antique marbles throughout the grass & ruined ground cover & flower beds....we replaced/repaired all, except the container and still missing marbles, our Great grandfathers items....

They did a fabulous job. We've relocated three times and all of the three services we've had they did the best job. They were professional and didn't damage any of our house old goods. Everyone was just really nice and prompt.
