Wynne Mitchell

I hired Wynne Mitchell to clean our home and to press our clothes. She took the clothes home to iron both times. She rarely showed up on the right day and only once finished her three hour shift. The real problem is my ironing. The second time five shirts were not returned. Stupidly, I let her go as a housecleaner before she brought them back. This was early summer. All summer I would call and she would promise to return them in a few days. (I didn't know where she lived and had only a cell number.) My daughter was quite ill and the shirts took a back burner. I called her infrequenetly until September when I contacted the police for options. Now she was for a long time not taking my calls. So I left a message explaining my next move was to wait two days, then sign papers for a petty theft report and the police would be out to her house. But she still didn't return the shirts. The morning before I left the house for the station, I heard a long honk. There on the porch was a dirty bag tightly fastened. After cutting it open I found our five shirts in a bag of garbage which included a half-smoked cigarette. The shirts had been soaked, wadded up into a small ball, allowed to dry and thrown in the bag of trash. The shirts had been worn. They were stained and mildewed. Please do no bring this woman into your home. I cannot recommend her.
