Told them exactly what we needed done. Mom told them as well once she got there. They ended up replacing 3 interior door handles that were not broken as well as 1 exterior door handle. Also, had brake noise diagnosed(they told me after I called since they had forgot to do this as well) and the diagnosis was not printed off and appears to be inaccurate since I had a friend drive and noise was coming from rear and I fixed by spraying brake dust off drum. I explained that they fixed a bunch of things that clearly worked, and they would not give a partial refund or any compensation at all. I have went here over 30 times, and this is how we were treated. $243 in waste and more in parts. On top of this, the drivers door stopped working yesterday... Scared to take it back, so I won't. My advice, try someplace else. They are courteous until you show them they were taking advantage of your mom and ask for a partial refund. Not much to ask. $10 would have made us feel like they at least felt bad about it. Actions speak louder than words however, and they have shown their true colors.

My son gets his oil changed there. We provide the oils and the filter and they charge like seven or eight dollars. They're always professional and real nice. They're pretty professional. They've got some younger people working there but the owner, Rick, he's got more knowledge. I would recommend them.

I stopped in without an appt early on a Monday morning to ask if Nixon's could check out my Impala before taking it 1000 miles on summer vacation. I'm a recent widow and don't kmow much about cars, so it would have been easy to take advantage of me but they were honest in their assessment of the needed car repairs. The waiting area isn't much to speak of but my wait time was under an hour anyway.

My husband wasn't able to do it but we had all the stuff so I called them and they told me to bring the stuff and they charged us for labor. They service cars, they put oil filters and check all of these stuff and they just charge $10 for labor. I was really pleased about that. They are friendly, they explain stuff to you if you have any questions, and they get everything done in a timely manner. I haven't been to them a whole lot, but by word of mouth I've heard good things about them. They are funny and they are just people like us. We will definitely use them again.

Everything ended up just fine, after it was fixed the sensor went out after driving it. They got it right back in and got everything repaired so he could pick it up after Thanksgiving. They stood behind their work and replaced one part that had went bad.

We have had alot of work done through them because they do such a great job. Last time my battery died and I had it towed to them and alls it was was they had to replace the battery cables. They have also just about rebuilt my pick up and they went above and beyond to find the problem with our Hyndai. They are really good at what they do.

Took my daughter's car in for service. After two weeks, they finally diagnosed it. Price quoted was twice what another mechanic in town later charged to fix the problem. Never take your vehicle here.

I did not know about Nixon's Garage except through their reputation, which was mixed, so i decided to give them a shot on some typical work. I called and scheduled an appointment for an alignment with upper ball-joint installation. Nixon's technician did an, albeit seemingly too long, impeccable job; vehicle drove straight and did not wear my tires unevenly.

I have known Rick for many years. I would recommend anyone in the Joplin, Missouri area that is looking for good mechanics at very reasonable rates that will do everything in their power to get you in and out while maintaining the quality and professionalism of their work to use these guys. TOP NOTCH!
