Great, they found septic and pumped it

We've had problems with the septic tank since last summer when we bought the house. I had someone come out in August 2016 to pump the tank, although it had been pumped a few months prior. I asked about the plumbing lines coming from the house and was told that there were no problems with those lines, although they didn't even look at the pipes in and under the house. The drains started to slowly quit draining after a few months and I needed to have the plumbing checked again. So I called Hillbilly Pumping, who I had used in the past with good results.

After the septic tank was drained, the water in the toilet still would not drain into the tank. The worker from Hillbilly Pumping went under the house to check the pipes and asked if he could dig a hole where the pipe connects to the septic tank because there was a clog in that line. He snaked the pipe from the septic tank and there was a HUGE clog in the pipe that had probably been there for quite a while. The plumbing line cleared and the water drained into the tank with ease. I am so glad that I called Hillbilly this time. Their workers are friendly and they fixed the problem instead of just draining the tank and leaving. 

Unfortunately, we may have a failing drain field, so if that is the case and I need to have the septic system replaced, I will call Hillbilly Pumping for their services. I am very pleased with the service I received, and they were also able to come to my house within two days. Excellent service!

I called them and was told they were booked for the next 3 days but would work me in if they were able to. They called me on the second day and said they could be there in 45 minutes. They arrived and did the job and were very nice. No damage to my yard even. :)

We called Hillbilly on Monday 3/7 and they let us know we could get them out the next day for a septic system with standing smelly water on top (A symptom the internet says is caused by damaged lateral lines).  On Tuesday 3/8, they made good on the scheduled service and arrived amidst a downpour that was forecast to continue for days and drop 2-5 inches of rain.  

Instead of telling us we'd have to wait and potentially get the system backing up into our drains, they got right to work, digging up the buried tank, removing the massive concrete slab cover, and pumping the tank; all without any equipment in our yard despite the long distance from the driveway to the tank.

Not only did they save us a huge expense from an overfull tank dumping water back into our home...they also made sure to tell us there was likely nothing more that needed doing; tree roots had infiltrated the tank, blocking the lateral line outflow.  This saved us the money for excavating the lateral lines which we had thought would be necessary.  They gave us estimated costs should the repairs turn out to be required after all, and also quoted a new system then gave us great advice on how to proceed if the tank backs up again...even offering to set up a service plan at discounted rates for regular visits.

I really couldn't be more impressed.  I don't know too many tradesmen who would save a homeowner's bacon in the pouring rain and treat it like it was just another day on the job with no grumbling or raised prices.

There is one person came out and one truck. He know what he is doing and he did it very well. Their price is fine.

Had a small misunderstanding with them concerning the urgency of my septic problem. However, once that was sorted out, they quickly came and professionally did everything as agreed.

It went extremely well.

The technician was prompt. He performed the pumping and invited me to use the service again.

They were friendly, courteous, and got my septic system fixed in time so I could get a shower before going to work. Overall it only took them about 30 minutes.
