Jim Guag, is the father of Jim at Jim?s Drywall. Overall, his dry wallers do some fairly descent work. The texture came come out nice. The older guy Dean, was a lot better dry waller than the younger guy. I wish I could have hired him! I think that if Jim had allowed Dean to take care of some my minor carpentry work, that I heard him tell him not to do, I think my job would have come out better. I had to do some work around the window areas to complete the job and a wall beneath a window was not finished to my satisfaction.
I told him to protect my floor. He did not put down paper until after they dry walled the house. My wood floors were a mess by that time.
He is not a man of integrity. He stated that he would come back and fix anything I was dissatisfied with. He did not do so. There was one wall beneath a window that did not look good at all after they got finished. I had it redone by someone else.
He picked up supplies that he ordered on my supply bill before doing my job. I do not believe that those supplies made it to my house. I paid him extra to put up some wallboard and to cut out a medicine cabinet for me. He did not do it! There were approximately 14 sheets of drywall left over that I did not get credit for.
The drywall trash was placed on the curb for pickup, so they did not have to haul away the trash.
"This work was performed by my father not by me my father suffered from dementia and also side effects from a mild stroke my father always included the materials in his prize to somebody that way if there was something left over they didn't feel like they paid for something that they didn't get so if there was extra material my daddy come out of his money so my dad probably did you the 14 sheets of sheetrock and they didn't get credit for it I wouldn't imagine that my dad probably didn't text up on your curve like I said he was old and very sick now he's in the Lord's hands"
