Auto Sales
At first I was impressed with Mr Storey by pointing out the few things that didn't work on the vehicle. Mr Storey is very reluctant in coming off the price of a vehicle -- claims he buys only good cars and is not making much profit by pricing the vehicle fair. Typical sales approach. If you looking for a deal -- go elsewhere.. He only took off $100.00 on the vehicle from $2950.00 to $2850.00.
When I inspected the vehicle -- noticed door molding was off or damage -- Mr. Storey did not inform us. In a letter he claims he cannot inspect all vehicles -- I came back and informed him the vehicle was detailed-- whoever did the work should of informed you. I feel Mr. Storey shoud check his vehicles and note what is wrong and pass the information on to a seller.
Several weeks later I noticed the vehicle was dripping oil. Had to repair oil pan gasket ,oil plug drain, timing cover gasket and water outlet pipe. Had the vehicle repairs at Big O Tires -- they informed me both leaks were already in existence prior to vehicle being sold. Blackwell's Garage did an oil change and replace a tie rod and emissions hose -- my concern was that Blackwell's Garage knew about the leaks and passed it on to Mr. Storey and he decided not to fix it. Mr Storey denied this claim.
This was asddressed in a letter to Mr. Storey on Dec 26, 2012. Mr Storey replied -- he was not aware of the leaks and in his opinion that Big O Tires did not know what they were talking about. In conclusion, he said I should of contacted him -- I told him he would tell me the vehicle was sold as is and he was not aware of any additional problems. I am still waiting for a response to see what he will do -- as he stated I should of contacted him.
As of January 21, 2013 -- Mr Storey has not replied. Have forwarded 3 e-mails.
