They showed up on time and did the work required in a reasonable amount of time.
But I should add the reason I'm giving them a B instead of an A.
I don't need electrical repairs to our home very often, in fact I haven't had any done for years. So I'm not used to the "customs of the trade" if you will, when it comes to giving estimates. You see, when I take my car in for service, I ask for the hourly rate before agreeing to the service. When they tell me "fifty dollars an hour" for instance, that means fifty dollars an hour period, whether they have one mechanic work on my car or two or more mechanics to do the job. But when an electrical contractor quotes an hourly rate, that rate is PER HOUR PER MAN. That means if it takes two workers to do it, you will be charged twice the hourly rate. So If the contractor says "fifty an hour" and he sends two people to do the job, you will be charged one hundred dollars an hour for the task. I failed to ask for a written estimate before agreeing to the electrical work, so the bill came as a surprise. But, live and learn. Later, I called other electrical contractors in the area to check their rates, and they all responded the same way, by simply quoting the hourly rate - without saying "PER MAN." I had to ask: "Is that per hour or per man, per hour?", and then they replied per man per hour.
I suppose I was somewhat naive about this. But, seems to me the electrical service industry could be a little more forthcoming about their actual rates. But, as I say, live and learn.

These guys are the best. We had extensive remodeling and Southerlin ran lines for new fixtures in kitchen, bathrooms, and living room. We also had problems with phone lines in our house--either the outlet was dead or had a lot of interference. We live in an area where we cannot get cable so our Internet connection is DSL. I work out of our home and need a fast connection for my business computer. Southerlin installed new Cat 6 line to get my computer running better as the old DSL line was inadequate. More importantly they pointed out some unsafe electrical work that had been done previously in our home and corrected it. Very knowledgeable, professional, punctual, hard workers.

They were very fast and very good. I would very highly recommend them for any electrical work. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.
