Real Estate Service
Kim is a terrible landlord. Her and her husband own a rental property in Jefferson City. I rented from her for 18 months. Didn't return my security deposit and didn't bother to communicate with me half of the time. I moved out (gave her sufficient notice, paid for time I didn't live in the apartment and already moved out) and she didn't return my calls, emails, or snail mail. No notice, no explanation of why she decided she wasn't going to return the deposit. I would have taken her to small claims court, but I couldn't stand to be in Jefferson City any longer.
During my time in the apartment, I inquired about a few electrical repairs that needed to take place (my father is an electrician and even he said the repairs were desperately needed and not up to code). I mentioned this to her in July 2012. She didn't bother to make an effort to fix it until December 2012, and even then it didn't get done. The home needs updates and they don't bother to do anything to the property to keep it updated.
I cannot speak to how she is as a realtor, but I imagine that if I purchased a house from her she would have treated me better.
