 + -1 moreThe brand of metal didn't qualify for State Farm's metal roof discount because the metal company does not do all the testing required for the discount (but we would have had to sign a waiver saying we understood we couldn't file an insurance claim for cosmetic damage to the roof to get the discount) so we were probably just as well off not getting the 5% discount on premium anyway. That way there would not be a dispute later over what might or might not be just cosmetic damage. So far we are very pleased with how the color and finish of the metal ( 24 guage standing seam) are holding up.
Description of Work: A roofer we had used before to put on an asphalt roof did the measurements for a metal roof and ordered the metal from Prairie Metal Sales for us. That roofer later decided not to install the metal roof so Prairie Metal Sales patiently stored our materials for almost a year until we decided to find a different roofer instead of waiting for the original roofer any longer. His measurements turned out to be correct and Wagler Metal Works delivered and installed the metal roof very nicely. Prairie Metal Sales was very patient and kind through all those months of waiting.
