I'm the manager of that Pro Lube of America, we have been in business for a very long time.. today March 13th 2023 the trash service arrived and I asked him to lift the dumpster once and then allow us to put in half of one of our trash cans and then lift it one more time. The driver immediately asked me for a free oil change as if it was equivalent..... you're talking a 4 gallon oil change for hitting a button two extra times. I did not have another dumpster for him to dump just half a trash cans worth, I have a car wash to maintain. I do not appreciate being treated very rudely by the driver just for asking for a small favor and we were going to put the dumpster away and close the dumpster enclosure for him if he did that for us. Instead he popped off with attitude about him getting a free oil change when the oil alone for that truck cost at least $80, not including the oil filter or the service

I have been in Raytown several years and have had to call Ted's Trash Service twice. On both occasions I have encountered extremely rude and unprofessional personnel on the phone. This is unacceptable and indicative of poor training and supervision. I called today because my trash was not picked up Monday as scheduled. I was asked if my trash was at the curb by 6:00 a.m. and it certainly was. Since Ted's drivers note every pick-up, the representative should have known my trash was there. A truck did not even come to my house on Monday to get my trash. Yet the representative was argumentative, disrespectful, rude and did not listen. I had to remind her that I am the customer who pays my money and I have the right to speak. Her apology was derisive, sarcastic and matter-of-fact. Citizens deserve better when they are paying customers!

I have used Ted's Trash Service for trash and recycling services for the past two years. I pay for the year in advance (paying this way you paid for 11 months and received 1 month free... I was informed today they are no longer offering that payment option). I guess half way through this last year they decided to up the cost of trash and recycling service and, even though I paid for the year up front they decided to charge me for the extra. It's a small bill but it's not very professional to have someone pay for a yearly service and then send them a bill for extra charges. I was informed today by the rude customer service woman that I'm not really paying in advance; the money just sits in holding and is removed month by month. I'm quite sure they didn't touch that money; that it wasn't sitting in one of their accounts drawing some kind of interest or something. Unprofessional and, in my opinion, unethical.

"I apologize that you had a bad customer service experience with our company. We did increase our rates beginning January 1st, 2021 ($1 increase for trash, $4 for recycling) due to the the rising costs of operations across the board (fuel, labor, insurance, etc.). We did send out notices to every single customer, so you should've received something in the mail last December, but every customer did have an increase letter that was mailed. I show you paid for the year in October of 2020, so this was before we made the executive decision to increase our residential rates starting 1/1/21. I understand where that is frustrating, since you did not know at that time, of the rate increase. The rate increase letter was the notification we used, but I can see where that would be confusing, especially in your situation, of not knowing if your rate was locked in for the year or not. We will strive to avoid these types of miscommunications in the future. I know that it's frustrating when there is a rate increase, but we have not had a rate increase on any of our residential customers for over 10 years. When you paid the 11 months of service up front, it sat as a credit in your own trash account, so when the monthly charge automatically posted, it would be deducted from the credit on your account. We deposit checks the day we get them, and post the amount you paid into your account. We do not collect interest on your payment or anything like that, so I apologize for the misunderstanding. We hope you give us another chance! We value our customers, and appreciate the support you have given our family owned business over the years."

I've experienced several problems with them picking up the lawn/leaf bags. I've had to call them when the bags were still there the day after scheduled pickup. It's taken them another day to get them. My parents ran a business, they taught us that no matter what the customer complains about, ALWAYS APOLOGIZE. When I've called, I've never heard an apology for the lawn/leaf bags not having been picked up.

If you need a roll off dumpster DO NOT USE TED'S. I ordered one, they delievered it and placed it on my driveway. They put it to close to my retaining wall and was unable to open it. When I called and asked if they could come move it a foot so it would function they would, but wanted to charge me for THEIR mistake. When I told them I am not paying for the mistake they made they got very hostile and I told them I did not want to use there service anymore and asked them to pick up the dumpster. I asked for a full refund and they refused. They then told me I would have to call my credit card company to dispute it since they were unwilling to help. Their prices are fair, but customer service gets an F. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

"I'm sorry you had a bad experience with us. As I understand it, the driver was told by you when he arrived there to put the dumpster in the exact spot it was placed. We offered to split the cost with you to move the dumpster. You declined our offer, and told us to pick up our dumpster. You have to understand that we have labor and fuel costs to compensate for, and we have to charge if you change your mind about where you want the dumpster placed. Again, I'm sorry for the bad experience but we did offer to correct the mistake."

The trash pick up has been going great for 4 years. I love the new recycling center that allows you to recycle at your convenience. They are prompt. They let you know when pick up days will be changed for holidays. I chose them because they are a local business.

Very satisfied with their service. Driver that dumped off container fit it into a tight spot for me and he was very pleasant to deal with. Had the dumpster in my driveway for 3 weeks during a remodeling job. Great communication with their customer service dep't. Would definitely use again and recommend strongly.

They were fine. We did not have any problems or miscommunications with them. In fact, it just did not work out. It was not a problem because they even asked if we wanted to leave it a little bit longer for no charge if they did not have a client for dumpster. We agreed, but they ended up getting a client.
