TED'S Heating and Cooling

Ted, is very helpful, and has gotten us up and running on three different occasions, with three separate issues, including talking me through a small issue over the phone. Incredible, knows his business, and is priced very fair. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing furnace or ac work done, to call him.

Wonderful job done in restoring our air. It was close to 100 outside and inside about the same..lol. He restored the air in around 90 minutes. We were able to sleep comfortably for the first time in about 3 weeks! He is our new air and furnace check-up man!

Exactly as it should have. He arrived on time and installed the unit. The humidifier install looks professional and is working fine.

Ted was punctual, courteous, efficient and helpful.

Ted called before arriving at our home and gave me his expected time of arrival.  He arrived at the expected time and got right to work.  I followed him around (which he did not mind me doing) and he performed a very thorough inspection of the central unit, thermostat, and compressor.  Loose electrical connections were found on the compressor unit which he secured.  He also cleaned the dirt, leaves, and other matter out of the unit's cooling fins.  A section of insulated wrap was missing from a pipe at the main unit and he replaced that also.
Ted was very easy to work with and I was very satisfied with my overall experience using him to inspect our a/c unit.  I will certainly use him again.

I called for service on my main floor furnace at 9 am on a cold Sunday morning. It had stopped working at 9 pm the previous evening and the temperature in the house was in the mid 50's when I called. Ted tried to help troubleshoot while on the phone and said he would be at my house by 2 pm. He promised to call when he was on his way and did exactly that. He got to my house before 2 pm and unclogged a switch tube and had the furnace working within 20 minutes. He explained what had happened to cause the problem, inspected the furnace and then charged a very reasonable $90. He was friendly, professional and offered to add me to his list to check my central air units in the spring. I am happy to have found Ted's Heating and Cooling.

I called Ted's Heating and Cooling around 11:00 am on Saturday because the furnace at my rental property had stopped working. Ted was at the property by before 1:30.  He quickly found the problem. The fan motor blower had frozen and needed to be replaced. Ted said he would get the new part first thing on Monday morning.  He did just as promised. I met him at the property about 9:20 on Monday and he was finished installing the part in 20 minutes.  He also replaced the filter, inspected and cleaned the furnace at no additional charge.  Ted was very efficient and professional.  I will be definitely use his service again.

Ted was very responsive.  He didn't charge me for the initial service call (even though it was a Saturday) because the furnace could not be repaired.  Ted was flexible regarding my schedule to get the new furnace installed.

Ted (the owner) arrived at the time we had agreed on.  He explained what he was going to be doing.  Ted checked the furnace unit, installed a new filter.  He then went out to the unit itself and cleaned all the debris that had accumalated on the outer frame area then checked the freeon (misspelled) and made sure it was running at the level it should.  Ted then came in and checked all the air vents to make sure the air was circulating properly.  I've used Ted's Heating and Cooling for years.  I find that Ted is a very honest person. He is a trustworthy person whom I would trust with my key to the house incase I wasn't available at the appointed time. I would recommend him to all his work is excellent.

My air conditioner stopped cooling one morning and I found Ted's using Angie's list. When I called to set up a service call I actually got Ted himself. He was very courteous and told me he could get to me that afternoon. He called about 12:30 and said he would be out about 1:00. He arrived when he said he would. When he got here he quickly assessed the issue and fixed it. He also replaced my thermostat that I requested. I asked him to check my water heater. Although it shows it was installed in 1998 Ted told me that it was fine and did not need to be replaced at this time. He was very nice, showed me the part on my air conditioner that he replaced. His fee was very reasonable and I will definitely use him again the next time I need heating or cooling service. A very pleasant experience all around.

We were satisfied with them, they were good. The cost was reasonable. They came out promptly when we needed them. They were good. They resolved the problem.

I called Ted on Friday and on Monday he was installing two new units. I would highly recommend Ted's heating and cooling!

We called Ted late one night because our AC unit would not come on (I think I called him around 9:00 at night.) He actually offered to come over that night but our little one was already asleep so I scheduled for the next day. Ted came over exactly when he said he would and was in and out in about 30 - 45 minutes. He serviced our AC unit; refreshed the freon; and changed a wiring issue in our thermostat. He was professional, polite, and efficient. Will definitely use him again.

The humidifier on my furnace was not working.  Ted diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and had it fixed all in the same day.  A very nice man who knows his stuff.  Easy going and a very pleasant man.  From now on, Ted is my go to guy for HVAC stuff.

I woke up to find that my furnace was not working.   The company I normally use is closed on weekends, so I found Ted's on Angie's List and called.  He responded right away, and came out within a few hours, as he had a previous call before mine.  Ted was very professional, courteous, and had a pleasant personality.   He determined that the igniter had burnt out and replaced it.  He also did a general check and cleaned the flame sensor.  I was very pleased and will definitely put Ted's at the top of my list for heating and cooling needs.

I have used Ted for several years....from putting in a new central air and heating around 4 years ago.  I have him come out and tune the central air in the spring and central heating in the fall.  He is very professional as well as personable.  I never have to worry about his work and he lets me know what he has done.  The price is very fair.  I would recommend his company to everyone.

I used a "big name" company for service and was told that the reason the AC was not functioning properly was their was too much freon in the AC (which they-the same company- put in on the prior visit). So they then took 2 lbs of freon out of the system. I continued to have issues with the AC cooling. Decided to call for a second opinion with another company and called Ted's Heating and Cooling. Ted came out for service call, quickly and promptly and said their was too little freon and I told him that another company just took it out. He inspected everything and cleaned it and put more freon back in the system. I have never had another issue with the entire system since. Works perfectly. I felt very comfortable with his services and did not feel like I was being tricked or decieved. The service call fee included one hour of service and then the freon was in addition. Very satisified with service and plan on using Ted's Heating and Cooling for all future heating and cooling needs. In future will be calling him first !

I’m hands on and asked him to explain different things he was doing, and he was happy to answer my questions, it went really well.  He’s been out at different times to tune up the furnace and central air. He cleaned up after himself.  He had to cut a hole from the garage to the basement and put it back perfectly. He always greets you with a smile and is very personable.

He did wonderful work. He is extremely careful and detailed. He is very punctual and picks up after himself and you couldn't tell he had been here. I would definitely recommend him to others.
