About us

Ours is a family owned and operated business, started in 2004. We deal exclusively with the sale and installation of awnings and sun/solar shades. We require a deposit, with full payment due at completion of the installation. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

We will travel within a 50 mile radius to provide you with a free estimate. We are not the largest company, so the same person that provides you with an estimate, will be involved with the installation. We are licensed in Kansas and Missouri.

I had a deck cover (can't think of name) which was destroyed by heavy snow.
I had Shades of Cool come out and they replaced it with a great deck cover that retracts.  I have been very happy with it.

They did a good job, it's a good product. We got a remote control for it that opens and closes it. The guy came over. We talked. About 4 days later they showed up and put it on, that quick. They are fast. A person comes out with a big ole folding thing that has all kinds of samples. What color you can get, what patterns and stuff like that. If your deck is 10 foot by 10 foot they can do it, if it is 15 foot by 30 they can do it. They just use stronger things. It's nice. If it is 70, 80 degrees and you put the thing out it will cool the deck down by 10 degrees easy. Even when it is hot it cools it down even more. What we did, we put a bigger wall on part of it so that the wind, so you can go out in the winter and get on there. So, we have a little enclosed place. I think it worth the money. When it is hot you put that thing out there and you can grill and everything else.
