Next Level Lawn and Landscape

We could not be happier with our choice to hire Next Level for our retaining wall, patio, stairs and landscaping. The finished product exceeded our expectations! Dylan was awesome to work with. We were very impressed that he was always available to meet and/or answer questions along the way. Plus, he was happy to accommodate when we decided to add some additional landscaping at the end. We paid exactly what was quoted(which was extremely reasonable)and the project was completed within the estimated timeline. This was a big investment, but throughout the entire process we felt completely comfortable and confident in Dylan and his crew. We love the finished product and highly recommend Next Level Lawn and Landscape.

Dylan and Bill were very responsive at getting a quote on what we needed and got started quickly. They also took care of any changes I wanted made after I saw how some areas looked and I wanted to make some upgrades. The crew worked very **** ** my project.

I am so happy with my experience with Dylan and the Next Level Lawn Care crew. My family and I recently moved into a home in Brookside and the backyard was a complete mess. The previous owners had left leaves and dirt for years, and the leaves had completely killed the grass so it was basically a big dirt patch. There was a murky, stinky pond that hadn't been running for a couple of years. I was desperate to get the backyard up to my standards prior to my daughter's second birthday party. I did some research and chose to go with Next Level.
I filled out an inquiry online and someone replied that day, I'd say within hours of my inquiry. We set up a time for a quote/consultation. Dylan arrived on time and was very professional. He was optimistic about the backyard renovation and excited about his ideas. I really admired his enthusiasm; you could really tell that he loves what he does. He and I discussed options, he took some measurements, and then the next day he sent me a drawing of his plans. From that point it was only about two weeks (and that was largely due to us deciding to postpone, and then changing our minds) until the crews were there. They were very sensitive to our time frame, and made sure to work us in so that we had our backyard by the date of the party.
The gentlemen that completed the renovation were incredibly diligent, hardworking, organized, and respectful of our home and neighbors. I was amazed at how FAST everything went. Each day I came home so excited to see the progress. The entire project took 5 days, which is exactly what I was told originally when I first met with Dylan. The yard looks absolutely beautiful--like out of a magazine or from a show on HGTV. Throughout the process there was frequent communication between myself and Dylan and I never struggled with getting in touch with someone if I had a question or concern.
Regarding price, I was expecting to pay quite a bit for this project. Next Level's quote was in line with two other quotes we got from other landscaping companies in the area. I decided to go with Next Level due to their responsiveness and how easy they were to work with. Dylan was not pushy or high-pressure; he was willing to tweak things to save money and seemed to really want to get me the best deal possible.
I was so thrilled with their work that I requested that they start mowing for me, once per week. I am excited to continue my working relationship with this company. They are a company that demonstrates integrity, work ethic, and most importantly, enthusiasm for what they do. I would highly recommend checking them out for your next project, big or small!

They were prompt.  They were here when they said they were going to be.  They worked around our schedule.  They were very detail oriented.  If I have changes in plans, they were really good about being flexible about that.

 We eventually agreed to just have the backyard done. He started the next week, Prep was done with a cultivator where the Sod would go. A mat was put down where the rocks would go and then the river rocks placed in a rock garden type area to solve our drainage issue. We have a very steep hill going down to a fence line. That area was prepped and then about 8 tons of rocks was put in a pattern. We also had an old French drain replaced and Dylan added a new one and laid drainage hole for both digging down about a foot. Dylan tied in a second gutter drain to the new French drain when the work was done (at no charge) which was not in the original agreement but was a nice improvement. Sod was placed in many areas in the backyard which took a couple days including over the French drains. He delayed the sod placement one day because the sod was looking yellow when he went to purchase it at the Grass Pad and he waited for better greener sod. That was nice so we were not starting out with older sod.

The rocks were done, the French drains were done and the sod was finished on the 3rd day. There was a mishap involving my wooden double gate that was damaged by his small dump truck. His team came back and addressed the gate twice and fixed the issues they had made and they were very professional about it. I appreciate the fact that they did some minor damage, (I did not witness it) showed it to me and then addressed it 100%.  They cleaned up their worksite and I am very pleased.

Terrible service.  I asked that they not throw grass on my vehicles, get grass all through my mulch, and weed eat the back side of my fence/mow part of the easement (as per my home owners association policy).  Also, I asked that they mow every other week due to the weather we have been getting and my lawn dying.  I emailed/called about these problems 3 times, and there was never any resolution. They continued to mow every week, throw grass on my vehicles, and never weedeated the back fence.

We received a flyer on our door stating that they would mow our lawn for $29.99.  This was a great price, so I contacted them via their website for a formal quote.  One was left on the door confirming the price, so I signed up for weekly mowing.  The first time they showed up, it appeared that they simply drove over the lawn without mowing.  I could see tire tracks, but the grass was the same length and no weed eating had been done.  I called to complain and they asked me to send a picture in, to which they replied that the weeds looked like a flower bed.  I gave them a second chance and this time they did cut the weeds, but they only mowed half the yard.  I called to complain again and they agreed to come look at the yard.  I was told that they thought half of my yard was community property due to my neighbors fence (2 doors down) stopping half way through the yard.  Branden told me that he would come back the next day and fix it personally.  He did show up a couple of days later and did a fine job.  A little over a week went by and they did not show up to mow the lawn.  I called and left a message asking to know when my mowing day would be, but I received no call back.  I called again and spoke to Dylan and he said that they showed up and someone else was mowing my lawn, so they left.  This of course was not true.  Dylan said it was a misunderstanding and that he would check with Branden and have him come back and mow.  Instead, Dylan called me back and said that they could not in fact mow my lawn for the agreed upon price and that it would take $45 to mow the law (he subsequently agreed to drop the price to $40 to be fair).  I told him to forget it since that was the same price I had already been paying someone else without all this hassle.

called and got a living social deal. They said that they were servicing regular customers first and that someone who signed up ongoing lawn service with them would come next and later when they had time the'd get to the living social customers. they arrived, did a terrible job of mowing, even leaving areas not mowed. I tried to sign up for ongoing lawn care and maintenance and they repeatedly did not call back and when they finally returned my call (5 or 6 calls later) they changed their mind and didn't want to come anymore. really very unprofessional and unreliable.
