Mike came in to bid the job of finishing my basement. He said he could accomplish what my wife and I had in mind and not only could he beat the price of the other bids we had already received, he could also start ASAP and finish before our deadline. This couldn't have been further from the truth. Mike and his crew were unprofessional in the way they handled themselves and the job site. They NEVER showed up on time, often times going days with no work being performed, and they NEVER cleaned up after themselves. The job was not done to the caliber promised - using the wrong drywall quoted, incorrect insulation, different materials that what was quoted and using a crew that appeared to have not done this type of work before. Mike, the owner, would occasionally show up and check the work performed. He often times would not come by for several days in a row causing problems when his crew would don something incorrectly having to tear it out and re-do the work. When it was all said and done, I wished I had gone with the other company. I may have paid a bit more in the long run but the workmanship would have been up to our standards and we wouldn't have had to deal with all of the headaches. I would not recommend Mike or his company for any type of work inside or out. The process is painful, slow and you don't get what you want. I'm shocked this guy and this company are in business.
Description of Work: My wife and I were to have our basement finished. The work performed was to be approximately 1,800 sq ft with a pool table room and bar, TV room with a fireplace, bedroom with a walk-in closet, full bathroom and a large playroom and fort for the kids all of which were to have high end finishes.
