A friend recommended Mike Huff construction with the instructions that they were a little difficult to get ahold of but were worth it. The on-line phone number is not active so I included the one I used which is a cell.
We required a complete removal and re-roof due to hail. We got 3 offers and this was the lowest by $7000 from the other 2. We opted to get 50 year shingles and polymer rolls instead of tar paper. We decided on ridge vents instead of the previous ones and replacement of all metal everywhere. You must understand, we have a huge roof and most of it is 12/12 which is steep. The rest is even steeper!
They began the project on-time and worked every day from about 8 am until after sunset. It took 4 men about 2 1/2 weeks to complete. It looked beautiful. Later that year when it snowed a literal blizzard, we got snow in the attic because of the ridge vents with insufficient soffit vents. They responded quickly and corrected the problem to our satisfaction. At a year, we saw a shingle which looked loose and they came right out and fixed it as well.
We can certainly understand why they are not hurting for business. They don't do just roofing (gutters, windows, decks, siding), but that was our experience with them.
