King's Small Engine Repair

I am unable to recommend this place unfortunately. I took in a mower for a 100.00 dollar repair and a few days later I receive a call telling me the bill was over 300.00 dollars. When I asked Fred how this happened, he told me the mower needed a lot of work. I asked him who authorized these repairs and he advised me that he had been too busy to call me for authorization. Very shady if you ask me.. I asked him what they did to the mower, he stated that the gas looked like Windex and they needed to rebuild the carburetor. I find this ironic since it ran perfectly fine when I took it in, I only asked them to replace the self-propel mechanism since it was broke. He said the blade was bent and they needed to straighten it.. I also find that Ironic since it was not bent when I took it in since I just mowed with it. Lastly, he advised me that I was missing the air filter and cover. At this point I then said, “Fred, I really think you are looking up the wrong ticket, my mower was not missing the air filter and cover which he stated, No, I am looking at the right one. I call fowl,, this is not at all what was wrong with my mower. I am not sure why you apparently think I have the intelligence of a fool.

My experience with them was not very good. They were slow to finish the job. They said they had it fixed. My husband brought the motor home, used it a couple of times, and the third time it started exhibiting the same problems. He took it back to them and said they did not have it fixed, and they basically did the same thing again and charged us full price. They would not discount the price for the second repair. So, we are totally unsatisfied with them.
