The company is a model of how not to treat customers.
They were always late for scheduled appointments and continually expected that they could come by anytime to do what they needed to.
We weren't told told before purchasing that they sub-contract everything out. So , a local HVAC company was in charge of putting in the heat pumps. He had his own business and customers which made it hard for him to get here and concentrate.
We purchased the system after reading how long the equipment is expected to last versus a conventional furnace./ heat pump.
But we had trouble with a pump almost immediately. Finally, after a year we found a reputable company to come in and replace
the defective pump. This company couldn't or wouldn't fix it.
,If you thinking about installing this in your existing house, beware. They destroyed a lot of our land by bringing a drilling rig in that got stuck and put holes everywhere. We still have a lot of work to do to get our grass and grade back where it can be mowed without a roller coaster effect. If you are building a house , then geothermal makes sense before you have a landscaped yard.
I don't trust the competence or "sales" hype this company gives you. Life is too short. I won't go on but there are many other things that happened.
Now, the rest of the story . It actually got worse . This company did not install the original geothermal units correctly and I had to spend $ 4,000 out of pocket because they would not , or probably, did not know how to do it the right way.
In addition, I had a problem with one of the heat pumps they installed that should have been covered under warranty. I could not get them to respond and spent another $ 1,000 out of pocket to make it right. Run away from these guys !
