Ez phone n pc repairs

Called provider and told him my Samsung S-III screen cracked and the display was not light up. Provider told me it would be 100 dollars to fix a broken screen and 50 dollars more to get the display to work properly again. Provider diagnosed my Samsung S3 with cracked screen and would have to replace the display connector. I agreed to charges left and was called to pickup within an hour. Came back to shop and noticed the replacement glass looked a little thicker than the original but other than that worked fine. Phone worked for 5 days which I did not drop or bump (i purchased a phone protector after getting it fixed).  I called the provider back and explained to him that it was working just fine and then just stopped. Provider asked me to bring it up for him to see what is going on. Took up to the shop promptly to the owner i guess (there is only two guys in the store and they seem to be playing video games all day) and he removed the cover and said he "could fix it but it would be very expensive". I asked him why I would have to pay again if I paid an extra 50 dollars to get the screen displayed. To which he stated this is something different and will cost more money. I told him thanks but no thanks and i thought he stood by his work (to which he muttered something because he was eating a pizza) and I walked out. Do not take your phone or device to this place. They are Amateurs charging expert prices and will pull the old shady car repair man trick on you. Don't waste your time or money on these guys as they do not stand by their work.
