Chris Carter - The Carter Group @ Keller Williams

I found Chris on Angie's List. I have had excellent success using the list, however I WOULD NOT recommend Chris. We signed up in September with him to be our real estate agent. He seemed nice enough. That was the LAST TIME he ever had direct contact with us.  In 5 months he never called/responded to calls or spoke with us. I had to email him if I wanted information and most of the time he would say the email got lost. Obviously his communication skills are lacking or maybe even non existent.

All of the showings on the house were from other real estate companies seeing the listing. I am not sure his company actually showed it. I suggested an open house of which Chris said he did not believe in open houses and did not do them, however, a few weeks later he had one which was poorly advertised and had poor results.

We did not blame him for the fact that our house hadn't sold in this slow market but the final blow was when we decided to cancel the contract with him to do some updates and rethink. We emailed  him to have the contract removed and he never got back with us. We called multiple times for over a week. His assistant said she would have him contact us - no luck. Finally we had to get ugly and leave an irate message about cutting off the lock box and he called back. When I questioned him as to the delay he stated "I forgot".
He is the "head" of his real estate office and his lack of professionalism, poor communication skills and lack of respect/interest are poor representation for Keller Williams. I will be contacting the Keller Williams corporate office and will NEVER use KELLER WILLIAMS again if they allow their agents to do so little work for their money.

I repeat. DO NOT US CHRIS CARTER from KELLER WILLIAMS and pass the word. There are plenty of other real estate agents who work hard for their money and deserve our business.

They took care of everything including the appraisal and inspection. We would recommend them. The price was good.

He did a good job. He helped us find a good deal and helped us through all of the ups and downs of the home buying experience. We will use him again in the future.
