Dave and his team were great! They redid the wood bracing that was not done right by a previous homeowner and replaced rotted wood in the corner of the basement. Very knowledgeable and prompt. Would hire again.

He kept in touch waiting for weather and for utilities markings. Lots of good advice. Prompt and helpful. Good cleanup afterwards.

I am very pleased with their work from start to finish. Dave was there when he said he would be and did outstanding work. No hidden costs. He told me what it would be and that is what it was. Hope I don't need to use their services again but would definitely if I had to.

Estimate was accurate, work was well-done, and was advised how to prevent future problems. I was also shown other problems with the basement that should also be fixed to keep basement dry. I found the quality of work and price quite satisfactory.

I thought it went great. Dave came over on 08/12/10 to give an estimate. The structural engineer I had previously consulted had said it was the worst foundation he had ever seen that hadn't actually collapsed (the house is currently vacant). Dave thought he could start work in 7-10 days, but called that Sunday morning to say they would be starting on Monday morning (Dave and two employees), which was fine with me. They didn't finish until the next Thursday. Other than the beams, you wouldn't be able to tell what condition the foundation had been in. It looks fantastic. There was a heavy storm on 08/20/10 before they were even finished and there was no moisture at all in the basement. Dave is, I guess you would say, a little laid-back, but he gets the job done. I only actually spoke to him once after they started work and that was just because I had to go by the house for something else. They did everything they said they would do. They did a great job of cleaning up the basement and hauled away all debris. There was a toilet in the basement and they took care to make sure to space the beams so a new toilet can be installed in the same spot. They had to take down part of a chain-link fence to get the equipment in the back yard, and replaced it better than it was before. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole experience.

They were very prompt in coming out. I have nothing but words of praise to say about them. I spent $3400 for the job. I liked the owner; he seemed like a guy with very high integrity. He looked around and explained to me what was wrong. He told me why certain things wouldn’t work. His estimate was way lesser than the other companies I had contacted. Initially, he told me that the job would cost me $3000 only. I felt that it was very low a price (considering the estimates that I had got from the other companies). So, I called a structural engineer to give me an unbiased report. His report almost agreed with the estimate given by Central Foundation Repair. He said that I needed to get the beams reinforced every four feet instead of every six feet. That added $400 to the original estimate of $3000. The guys worked really hard. On the first day, they worked till 3.30 pm without taking a break and without having lunch. They completed the work in two days. The quality of their work was great. I’ll definitely use their services again in the future.

Dave came out the same day I called. Gave me a competitive estimate and walked me through making changes to my grading, my basement window retainers and my gutter system that would prevent future problems. He came out the first day that I was available on time and called me the night before to confirm. My wife and I had already made some of the changes he suggested to our grading and Dave helped with more advice on additional areas that needed changes once he saw what we had done.

Job was inspected and estimated the same day we called; job was finished ahead of time; everything we asked for was done to our satisfaction. Price quoted was 25% less than our other quotation.

We have used Central Foundation in the past and are extremely satisfied with their work. In our old home they came recommended by our structural engineer. They quality of work was excellent and they cost thousands of dollars less than the other bids we received. Their recommendation was the only one that our engineer agreed with. In our new home we called them for an inspection. The owner came out and explained what was going on with our home, that we didn't need any work done and what to do to avoid future problems.

Dave and his men came as agreed. They were courteous and explained in detail the how and why of what they were doing. They cleaned up afterwards. They also moved two work benches.

It was a very good experience, he was very honest, and he was trying very hard to please us. He got the job done fast, he was very well priced, and he was always good to talk to us to let us know what was going on.
