Found Matt on Craigslist - charming at first. Then he started texting and calling daily at 5am, when scheduled work time was 8am. Talks too much - lots of “you know what I mean? You know what I mean?” I have things to do - not interested in chit chat at 5am when we’ve already laid out the plan. He gave me a good quote but quickly said he forgot a few things, which extra totaled up to about $400. Tile job is ok, but no pencil marks for measurements were removed. I’ve spent a lot of time removing those. He also left broken tile in the garage and destroyed my trash bin container, which I ended up having to pay $55 for. Last straw was standing at the sink one day, after Matt had sent ME to Home Depot to get caulk. Apparently I didn’t get the right kind. He told Richard “she bought the wrong stuff, dumb.” Didn’t know I was listening. Buy your own caulk, dude. Be a better contractor. I would never ever use All Over the Floor again. Overpriced and super unprofessional. PS while Matt sucked on multiple levels, Richard was very cool and honest.

Matt took the time to explain to me what he was going to do and ask me if I wanted something different done. He did a wonderful job and I am very pleased with the final job. He is very polite and friendly. He called ahead to let me know what time he would arrive and was on time. I would definitely recommend him and use him again if I have the occasion to.

Went well. He installed the flooring without interruption to household and worked with carpet installers so they could work without getting in each other's way
