ACE LANDSCAPES INC

Company was recommended by an old friend who had previously employed the principals.  Received quote for some of the work in the prior summer.  Did not call back until July a year later.  Company honored their original quote.  Did the work on time and provided sound advice on the best way to accomplish my goals concerning the portion of my yard direclty behind my house. 

I got a quote which was satisfactory, but received another estimate that I liked better.  Overall presentation was good, and price was ok, but I decided to go with someone else.

They did a very good job. They were very polite and they did good work.

Kent was very clear and detailed about what would be done and how much it would cost. They removed the old wall (part of which had fallen onto the sidewalk!) and replaced it with a very nice looking wall. I was really surprised and pleased with how fast they were able to get it finished.

Wow! I agree w/ the previous poster. Go ahead and get your three bids, you'll come back to these guys. They were about 1,200 to 2,300 dollars cheaper than the other 2 bids. And they know what they are talking about, not to mention they've got great ideas and know what they are doing. We built our house 3 years ago and haven't ever liked the landscaping we had done with the builder. So, I've been thinking about doing a retaining wall with some landscaping for over a year and wanted to see what we could do without spending a fortune. These guys came out and not only gave us a bid, but gave us some suggestions on things we could do/plant ourselves..(this saves tons of money vs. having someone do it for you) Plus, they give you what you should look for at your local nursery and tell you what they would put in the space!! They were running about two weeks out, and got us in earlier than expected. Finished the job in one day and we couldn't be happier. Already getting tons of compliments. Thank you guys! We will be calling again about our landscaping issues for the backyard this fall.

I was very impressed with Kent and his crew...they did everything in one day.... They showed up on time and on the day they said they would....I would hire him again !!! I also had three other bids....his was the best....he was at least $700.00 to $800.00 less than the other people I had bids from... Robin Minzes

We were VERY pleased with the results. Kent was easily $800 cheaper than any other bid received and it looks great! He completed the work in less than 2 days and cleaned up the area very well. He understood our need to solve the problem with minimal investment and delivered a very cost-effective solution that doesn't look budget. He re-utilized existing landscaping (bushes, etc.) to provide a finished appearance to the work. He was very easy to work with, we're considering using Kent to complete projects at our home next spring.

I am extremely pleased with their work. The wall looks fantastic and really improved the look of the house. This is an older home (built 1906), so natural stone is a must. Brian and Kent from Ace really know this kind of work and did a fantastic job. I had other contractors out here to look at this, and clearly Brian and Kent were by far the most knowledgeable and gave me good recommendations about what type of stone to use and how to tie the old and new stone together. They were also the least expensive out of the bids that I got, which usually makes me skeptical, but they clearly knew more than their competitors and they also had excellent recommendations. Brian and Kent were a pleasure to work with. They kept up good communication with me and showed up reliably and on time. The job came in right on budget. Overall a very positive experience. I will happily hire them again next year to do some additional work at my house.
