I live in a rural area and I made an appointment for a time when Steve had other business in my area.  He arrived on time and everything was done professionally. This piano had been moved 6 times and hadn't been tuned in 30+ years. He fixed the keys that were "dead" and tuned it as far as he could in 1 visit.  He explained that he would need to return in a month or so to bring it further in tune.  It sounds remarkable for the poor shape that it was in, even after just the first tuning.  Steve is returning in January and I expect that his services will be just as remarkable.  His price is also very reasonable and he is very pleasant to work with.

This was my first Angie's List service, and one of the main reasons I opened an account. I'm glad I did! Steve was polite and responsive; while he doesn't work evenings or weekends, I was able to schedule a time that worked for me. He arrived early, and was polite and understanding when I was running late. Charged exactly what was quoted, although no repairs were needed. Took approximately 1 hour from start to finish, tuned the piano very nicely, said there was nothing wrong with it and could tell when it was tuned last down to the season. Would recommend to anyone looking for an experienced and affordable piano tuner!
