Paulette was kind enough to drop off the remaining fabric before my drapes were done so I could recover my chair seats before having my family over for Thanksgiving. She promptly came over and measured and gave me her quote. She used my special vintage fabric and the the drapes are a perfect fit and absolutely gorgeous. The workmanship is excellent. I would not only use her again, I wouldn't use anybody else.

Paulette, the owner, was very responsive to what I was looking for and really listened to my ideas. She also gave suggestions that fit my parameters which resulted in beautifully constructed draperies. Several times Paulette came over to finalize the material selection and hang the draperies until they were perfect. I appreciated her ideas, expertise, and attention to detail. I would highly recommend her!

Paulette's expertise and professionalism were perfect. I wanted to replace the drapes for a large living room window that takes up almost the entire wall. I sent Paulette pictures of the room in advance, and she brought several samples that would have worked well - including one in particular which she thought would be perfect and I agreed. She advised that this was an expensive fabric and offered to look for more options; I appreciated the forthrightness but opted for that choice regardless. She was present for the installation which went quickly and smoothly. The installer made an adjustment that was needed with the rod and closure mechanism. I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience.

Paulette proposed a floor-to-ceiling Silhouette for our two French Doors, each of which has a large, stained glass window. She also designed and installed a clever, custom pull-down drape for the two regular windows, that fit neatly behind the existing valance. The materials she installed were of highest quality, especially the custom drape for the two windows. The work was done right on schedule (it took about four weeks). Paulette then contacted me to schedule the install, which was done exactly when and as promised. I will use her again for our next job and highly recommend her.

Paulette the owner, was prompt, professional and full of great ideas. She asked many questions to draw out what I was thinking about for the window. She helped me narrow the options by showing previous work in her design book. The objective was to make it fun and happy and not too formal. She knew different options and how to implement my ideas. Communication is key and she has the background and skill to extract the data to help. I am very pleased with the end result I will be using her again for my dining room bay window next. I highly recommend her!

We had a wonderful experience working with Paulette (owner and designer) in designing and installing non-functional contemporary drapes to frame very large warehouse windows for our downtown condo. It was important to us that we minimize impact to our view, and Paulette understood and embraced that requirement in her approach. She very accurately interpreted what we wanted into a design solution, and followed through on the project in a timely and professional manner. What impressed us most, is that Paulette approached our relatively small project with the same enthusiasm and design care as she would a grand project. We highly recommend her services!

We first used Paulette of Charlotte’s Custom Drapery & Upholstery for window treatment in my new remodeled kitchen & laundry rooms. Since we were so happy with the finished look, we were confident she could help update our master suite. She did a wonderful job helping us select coordinating materials for my bedding, window treatments & accent chair from the thousands of choices out there. The total look turned out beautifully. She stayed on top of the schedule between the different vendors who all did beautiful work. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the final look.

Excellent. Paulette listened to my ideas, presented her own, and together, we can up with the right blind and drape. The drape covered a large sliding glass window, yet still let in the appropriate amount of light.

I wanted a window treatment for my two windows that have half circle windows at the top. I didn't want to cover the windows completely and I wanted to open up the view to the back yard. I found a picture online of something like I wanted. I called Paulette from Charlotte's Draperies, sent her the photo and she said she could help. From the first visit all the way through installation, Paulette was prompt, professional and did a wonderful job! ?The final product is everything I wanted and I am very pleased. The price was a bit more than I expected but she did have to have the iron rods custom made and shipped from another state. And the fabric I fell in love with was expensive so I could have saved money by picking something more economical, but the final product is definitely worth the price to me!?

I recently had the pleasure of working with Paulette at Charlotte's Custom Drapes and Blinds. Paulette made drapes for my dining room and drapes for the sliding door in my kitchen as well as a valance for my kitchen window. I have to say, Paulette is very talented and she is able to see things others cannot. She is extremely knowledgeable about design and makes sure everything is coordinated. Paulette arrived with the installer and they proved to be an amazing team. She made sure everything was properly hung and she had Jim make adjustments until every pleat hung perfectly. It was clear to me, she settles for nothing but absolute perfection. Her drapes are so beautiful I must redo my kitchen and dining room to match the beauty and elegance Paulette has created in these two rooms. We have a downstairs media room that has floor to ceiling windows that look out onto our koi pond. The downstairs foyer is also adjacent to the media room. Because of the light - we were only able to use our media room after dark. We asked Paulette to give us some suggestions - we wanted to be able to completely darken the room while still being able to have the wall of windows open when we were not using the projector. Paulette came up with a great design and the ideal fabric selection. The drapes were installed yesterday and it is perfect. When they are pulled back they clear the windows and the foyer - and when drawn shut they completely darken the room. The entrance to the room is through the gap where two panels come together and this really creates a cinema atmosphere in the room. We love it!

Excellent service - we had very specific tastes and needed a drapery professional who understood how to construct drapes for a home like ours. Did a great job - excellent workmanship and installation. Always prompt, professional, courteous and fun to work with. VERY patient with us as we were extremely particular - with an Architect/Designer as the homeowner she did very well!! A very expensive job due to the sizes and number of our windows - and her pricing was competitive.

Everything was okay. She was easy to work with. I think the most difficult thing was getting an appointment between her schedule and my schedule because with the Big Deal she got pretty busy, but we had a good chat and I got my money’s worth. One person came out. It was a consultation and she gave me some good ideas that I’ve been working on.

When Paulette came to my house for the first visit I was so impressed. I had sent her pictures and she had already spent a lot of time thinking what material and design would work for my home. Paulette was very professional and helped me come up with a design and fabric that would work well for my home for many years. On the day of installation her and her installer were very professional and thorough and took there time to get the job done right. She made sure that everything was hanging properly and that I was happy with how everything turned out. The quality of the drapes is very good and I know these will last me for a long, long time. She has wonderful taste and a vast knowledge of design. I would highly recommend Paulette.

I can't say enough great things about Paulette! From the time I contacted her, she has been responsive and punctual in all correspondence and appointments. She was so patient with me, as I kept asking for more fabric books, or told her I was going to look in some fabric stores myself, and she answered any questions I had along the way. I chose a fabric, and she kept me posted on her progress on them. We set up an installation date, and again, she and her installer arrived right on time. I LOVE the finished product!!!! Her attention to detail, and her craftsmanship is amazing! The draperies add so much to the room, my husband came home and was quite pleased also. Paulette is very personable, I enjoyed spending time with her!
