The retaining wall project went smoothly from start to finish. The owner and his crew were very professional and respectful of our property. The quality of the finished wall was outstanding and is everything we envisioned! The owner made sure that we were happy with the wall even during the construction. If you are wanting the best in hardscaping, then Action Landscaping is the company to partner with! We will be contacting Action Landscaping for all of our hardscaping projects.

From the time I walked in their showroom, and all the way to completion, went flawlessly. Professionalism, on time, neat, clean, courteous, even their trucks were clean. They even lay down 4x8 sheets of protection, so not to damage your lawn! They are experts folks who love what they do. It shows too. Remember, you get what you pay for. There is always someone out there that works cheaper, don't do it. If you are as picky as we are, have NO worries. They transformed our unusable front and back yard into wow. Looks like a picture from a magazine. They go over plants and trees upkeep with you, even a follow up e mail to print. We used lots of giant boulders that they had shipped from south east Illinois that we preferred. Don't be afraid to try different looks. You do not have to look at a boring block wall landscape. He has done a good job. And you get what you pay for. He is a little expensive, but well worth every penny. We are already using him for landscaping work. He has been in the business for a long time. He really knows what he is doing. He has a great team that works with him. I cannot say enough good things.

Action Landscape did a fabulous job. Tim designed and incisions a great yard. He did a good job following up prior to the job and was on the job site the three days of construction.

Walt the owner stopped by to provide an estimate on roughly
a 600 sq foot brick paver patio. Right from the start I felt that Walt knew his
stuff. I had received estimates from other companies previously and some of them
quite frankly seemed overwhelmed with the job. Walt provided us with
suggestions on the styles and colors that would look good with our house. He
had many books of previous installations that he had done which was a big help.
This assistance was something that greatly missing with our previous estimates.
 
 Before I met with Walt I reviewed their website and I had my mind set on a particular style and
color that I was going to use. Although a poplar style and color Walt felt another paver that he has worked with would look much better with our scheme.At no time did he ever try to talk us out of it but just wanted to give his opinion with his years of experience. Walt then asked us to stop by his office and he would be able to show us the pavers first hand.
After our visit to the office we reviewed what I had picked out and what Walt had suggested. After the comparison I could see what Walt had seen. The style and color that I had picked out would have been much too busy for the size of our patio. Walt?s suggestion was right on with our color scheme and landscaping that we have. He was confident that he would be able to provide us with a great looking patio which he did.
We couldn?t of been more pleased with the installation process.The morning of installation Walt came out with the crew to guide them on what needed to be done. Tim (the foreman) and his crew were great to work with. Some heavy equipment was required in order to bring in the materials for the job. The crew did everything possible to due minimal damage to the lawn. Once the
job was completed they repaired the areas that were damaged.
Any future jobs that I may need Action Landscaping will be on the list.   

The manager came out and he gave us two or three options like what would be more economical and best way to go.  He came out the very next day.  We had a drainage problem with the water coming into our yard.  He dug a ditch that went round the side and put in an interlocking block wall and covered it with dirt; he put big white rocks around it.  It looked really great; it was great landscaping.  He was pretty good.  I got other bids and they were high; some bids where around $1000 or more.  He was very professional.  He had a guy to come out and he was very neat and professional.  He did things in an orderly way.  He was a good worker.  Everything was really good.  I took estimates from six other people.  I couldn’t get hold of some people and some didn’t call back.  I got immediate response from him and I got answers anytime I called.  I was really impressed.

Walt, the owner, came out and suggested on completing a portion of our retaining wall and landscape around it.  His crew did a great job and was done with everything in 1 1/2 days!  I have used them in the past and will plan on using them again, they are polite, honest, and I've never had an issue with their work.  I highly recommend them.

They did a beautiful job. They were very professional. The crew did not stop working for anything, the worked tirelessly. They arrived on time. Walt was very knowledgable and knew exactly how many blocks it would take when he measured. I thought the price was very reasonable. We have had lots of compliments from friends and neighbors! I am very pleased with the walls.

Tim & his crew we cannot say enough about. The hardest workers I have ever seen. The job is A++, and they were the cleanest group of workers. They never left 1 piece of a mess. Very friendly (each one of the 4 man crew). We love the job. They hustled like crazy knowing bad weather was coming in a few days - but did the most talented job. Have I said how happy we are.

The work was very good. It looked very nice and was very clean. Personally, they are very accommodating and they do what they say they are going to do.

They always come when they say they are going to be here and do a very professional job for us. They also do a great job of getting all the trimmings up when they are finished.
