Tomlinson Electric LLC

Brian Tomlinson has been an electrician for many years but was laid off three years ago and started his own business.  I found him through a referral from a friend.  I called Brian and told him what I needed.  He said he would stop by the house at a specific time on Wednesday morning to assess what was needed to do the job .  He was early.   After looking at what was needed, he said he could do it either Thursday or Friday morning, depending on the weather.  We were expecting a snow storm.  The storm was worse than the forecast, and he could not come either day, but he continued to call me and update me on his plan to take care of the work.
He scheduled Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m., and again, he showed up about five minutes early.  He did the work, cleaned up the scrap materials, vacuumed the area and left it cleaner than it was when he arrived.  The installation was professional looking, and he did not mind that I stayed with him and talked while he was working.  The work took 1.5 hours.  He also provided some parts, such as the GFI outlet, some ROMEX cable, and some fittings.  Overall, I was pleased with the work and the price seemed appropriate for what he did.
