We were happy with them but their price was more than I expected. However, the job was probably more expensive than I expected. He stuck with it until he was done; he worked the whole time and I feel like I got good value for the money spent. His price was probably competitive.

Small Job Specialists Inc was honest, worked hard and did what I asked. What I didn't like and wasn't entirely his fault was that  the job took longer and cost more then I thought. I wanted a ladder in my house and instead of gluing, I wanted it to be screwed and this was more labor intensive. The service provider was originally off duty firemen and that is not the case any more if anyone knew that, they would find it surprising, this guy is not bad but it is different from what it used to be.

It took a long time to get someone out to look at the window and do an estimate. Part of the trouble is that the owner of the company is out of state, plus it was holiday time. Once I got the estimate and got some questions answered, the job was scheduled quickly. It was a random, small job, but Bill found the siding to match mine, sealed the window well, even though I failed to set it flush with the outer wall when I installed it. He even took away his trash, which doesn't always happen. A very professional product.

It went fine. They called me back in a timely manner and I got the job done on a Saturday so I didn't have to take off work. After they called me back, they got my job scheduled within a couple of days.

Small Job Specialists are prompt. If it's something they can't do they tell you that up front. Every time they've done a job for us, they've done it well.

Job was estimated by phone (6 projects) for 6 hours at $75 per hour. Actual time for 4 projects was 11 hours. Two and 1/2 (total) hours was spent at hardware store (3 visits). Toilet is not secure (wobbly) and bathroom sink still leaks. I will have someone else fix the problems.

I've used them since, I've been a member of Angie's List. I like them, because they are friendly, punctual, reasonable and know their limitations.

They guy that was sent out would not take his shoes off in the house. We had just had new carpet laid in the area where he was going to be working. My wife asked him to take his shoes off but he did not want to do it. Eventually he agreed. He would go back and forth to his truck and we did not want him to track anything on the new carpet. He reorganized the work so he only had to go out there once. The work was okay but she didn't like his attitude.

Only time can tell if the job done will stand up. Still waiting for the guarantee they're suppose to send me.

Two men came to do the work. Both were friendly and professional. They did a good job fixing things up. I plan to use them again.

I am very happy with their service. Their representative came out on a Saturday to meet with me and provide a bid on several services. The rep was very quick, responsive and professional. I would definitely use them again.

WORKMAN NOT VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE; TRACK LIGHTS CROOKED. TUB NOT CAULKED PROPERLY. POOR CLEAN UP. ALL WORK HAD TO BE REDONE.

Their price was very good. My problem was that I also wanted other electrical work in my dining room. He didn't have enough time allotted for it, nor was I too sure that he knew what he was doing when it came to a job that required more than just replacing fixtures that were already wired. I wanted the fixture in the dining room moved over by 1 ft., above the dining table. I wanted three hanging lamps to be added for over the buffet, and a plug-in receptacle to be put in behind the buffet for other purposes. Old houses don't provide enough plugs, which are required in newer homes built today. I don't know everything about electricity, but I know quite a bit, since I've renovated, and built a few houses myself in the past. He wasn't sure of how to do it. He came up with some out of the way thing to do the job. I also wanted to get an appraisal on an important job to replace beams in a room where the floor joists were non-existent. The price was too high.

BASED ON RECOMMENDATIONS FROM ANGIE'S LIST, I CALLED THEM AND THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF 3-4 HOURS OVER THE PHONE AND SCHEDULED A HANDYMAN (DAVE) TO COME OUT. THEY WERE PROMPT AND ON TIME. DAVE WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. SINCE OUR OLD FANS HAD BEEN IN PLACE FOR 20-30 YEARS, THERE WERE SOME DIFFICULTIES AND THE JOB TOOK LONGER THAN ANTICIPATED. ULTIMATELY, OUR EXISTING DUCT WOULD NOT WORK, SO I DIDN'T PAY FOR THEM TO GO BUY NEW DUCT AND I'LL DO THAT MYSELF. THERE WERE SOME MINOR CHANGES THAT NEEDED TO BE MADE, BUT DAVE CALLED ME ON EACH ITEM, AND COMPLETED EVERYTHING IN 6.5 HOURS. THEY CHARGE $75 FOR THE FIRST HOUR AND THEN $65 PER HOUR AFTER THAT, SO THE TOTAL WAS $432.50. THE RATE WAS A LITTLE STEEP FOR THIS PARTICULAR JOB, BUT I KNEW THERE WERE SOME DIFFICULTIES, SO IT'S NOT TERRIBLY OUT OF LINE. IT'S THE SAME PRICE I HAD RECEIVED AS AN ESTIMATE FROM AN ELECTRICIAN FOR THE JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN.

BOB, THE FIRST MAN WHO CAME, DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT TO DO THE JOB, EVEN THOUGH I HAD DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM ACCURATELY. HE WAS ON TIME, VERY COURTEOUS, APOLOGETIC AND WAS ABLE TO RECOMMEND STEVE. STEVE DID THE JOB TO MY SATISFACTION IN THE TIME SPECIFIED AND FOR THE PRICE AGREED UPON, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS REASONABLE. HE CAME AT THE TIME SPECIFIED.

MARK'S PEOPLE HAVE COMPLETED SEVERAL JOBS FOR US THIS PAST YEAR. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR QUALITY, PUNCTUALITY AND PRICING.

THIS WAS ANOTHER FINE JOB COMPLETED BY THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE DONE SEVERAL JOBS FOR US OVER THE LAST SIX MONTHS. THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK IS EXCELLENT, AND WE BELIEVE FOR A FAIR PRICE.

HANDYMAN WAS PROMPT, PLEASANT, & EFFICIENT.

BOB ADMITTED RIGHT AWAY THAT HE COULD NOT INSTALL OUR BATHROOM CARPET. I WISH THE GUY WE ENDED UP USING FOR THE CARPET HAD BEEN SO HONEST. ANYWAY, I CAME UP WITH SOME OTHER JOBS FOR BOB TO DO AND HE DID THOSE VERY WELL. HE CAREFULLY ESTIMATED HOW LONG EACH JOB WOULD TAKE AND WHAT THE LIKELY RESULTS WOULD BE. FILLING CRACKS IN THE GARAGE FLOOR TOOK LONGER THAN HE ESTIMATED, BUT HE ONLY CHARGED ME FOR THE TIME HE HAD ESTIMATED. YAY. HE WAS ON TIME, TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT MATERIALS TO BUY FOR HIM TO USE, AND SUPPLIED SOME OTHER MATERIALS WITHOUT CHARGING ME FOR THEM. HE ALSO SHOWED ME HOW TO PUT ANOTHER LAYER OF MUD ON THE DRYWALL TO SAVE HIM ANOTHER TRIP OUT AND SAVE ME THE $$$.IT WAS WONDERFUL. THEY ESTIMATED IT WOULD TAKE AN HOUR AND A HALF TO DO THE JOB. IT ACTUALLY TOOK ONE HOUR AND FORTY-FIVE MINUTES TO REPLACE FOUR FIXTURES. THEY ONLY CHARGED US FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF. BOB COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE BATHROOM FIXTURES IN THE TIME HE HAD BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE HAD TO RUN NEW WIRES

VERY GOOD. PROMPT, HONEST AND THE WORK WAS WELL DONE. THE WORKMAN WHO CAME TO MY HOME WAS VERY PLEASANT AND EASY TO WORK WITH.

TECHNICIAN BOB WAS WONDERFUL. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND SHOWING ME HOW TO DO THINGS IF I WANTED TO KNOW. EVERYTHING HE FIXED, HE WENT OVER WITH ME. VERY NICE GUY AND THE COMPANY IS WONDERFUL. THEY FIXED EVERYTHING I WANTED AND ADVISED ME ON GETTING AN ELECTRICIAN TO FIX THE ALARMS. IT WAS GREAT.

I CALLED SMALL JOB SPECIALISTS TO PAINT MY KITCHEN CEILING AFTER HAVING NEW LIGHT FIXTURES INSTALLED. THE CEILING IS PLASTER AND NEEDED TO BE RE-PAINTED AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE NEW LIGHTS. THE OFFICE MANAGER WAS RUDE ON THE PHONE WHEN I SCHEDULED THE WORK TO BE DONE. ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT, THE HANDYMAN SHOWED UP 15 MINUTES LATE AND DID NOT BRING HIS SUPPLIES UP. HE HAD TO GO BACK DOWNSTAIRS TO GET HIS MATERIALS TO START THE JOB. WHEN HE WAS DONE, HE SAID THE CHARGE WOULD BE FOR TWO HOURS, BUT HE WAS STALLING THE WHOLE TIME AND WAS EVEN ON THE PHONE TALKING ABOUT WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO THAT NIGHT. IT SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THAT LONG. I DIDN'T NOTICE UNTIL AFTER HE LEFT, BUT HE GOT PAINT ALL OVER THE PLACE AND EVEN PAINTED OVER MY NEW SILVER LIGHT FIXTURES.

BOB ARRIVED EXACTLY ON TIME, KNEW WHAT TO DO, AND FINISHED THE JOB IN LESS TIME THAN ANTICIPATED. HE WAS FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, AND EFFICIENT. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN.

THEY FAILED TO COMPLETE THE TASK OF INSTALLING A NEW LIGHT FIXTURE AND A REMOTE LIGHT STITCH AS REQUESTED. THE FIRST GUY THEY SENT OUT GAVE ME A BID ON THE WORK, THEN SUBSEQUENTLY QUIT THE COMPANY (THE NEXT DAY). THE OWNER THEN SENT OUT A GUY WHO DID NOT COMPLETE THE JOB AS I HAD DISCUSSED WITH THE OWNER (IN PARTICULAR HE FAILED TO INSTALL A DIMMER SWITCH AND THE SWITCH PLATE I PURCHASED AND APPARENTLY MADE NO EFFORT TO DO SO). WHILE THE FRONT PORCH LIGHT NOW WORKS, MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THESE GUYS WAS A HAPHAZARD EXPERIENCE. I DON'T THINK I WOULD USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.
