I wouldn't have them again. It is like a Pop and son business and I don't think they really know what they are doing. I am not satisfied with their work. I would not recommend them. They were here on time. They were pretty professional but not up to par. I would not use this service again.

Sam and his crew were very nice. However, they told me they could match the existing mortar and the product they used was NOT a good match. When I complained about how obvious the patched areas looked, Sam came out personally and tried to make it better. He suggested that over the winter it would weather and more closely match the original mortar. He may be right; I don't have the experience to know. Or I may have the work re-done next year. For now, I'm pleased the "maintenance" aspect was promptly taken care of, but not happy with the cosmetic aspects. I wish I had been home to talk with the crew as they were working and give them feedback before the house was totally done.

Extremely pleased with the quality of their work. Small business is family owned - very friendly and approachable. They did a very thorough job in identifying what needed to be done, provided a value-priced fixed-bid estimate, and completed the job quickly. They did an especially great job matching the existing grout and blending in with the rest of the brickwork,... I have to look very closely to see what areas were repaired. Much better than the (obvious) previous work that was done on our house. Other firms bid on the same work, but did not provide the same level of confidence that they could take care of the details such as matching grout and blending with the rest of the brickwork. Other firms were also higher priced by as much as 50%. I have no hesitation in recommending Sam Brooks for tuckpointing or other masonry work.
