Was hired to paint walls, spray kitchen cabinets, basement.   I'm so disappointed that I hired them.  Tim said he could spray my Kitchen cabinets for me.  I asked him if he knew how to do this and he assured me that he did and even provided pictures of prior cabinetry that he supposedly painted.  I told him if this was something he wasn't familiar that I had gotten a bid from another painter who specializes in just the spraying of cabinetry.  I ended up going with Tim because he said he was an experienced painter in all types of finishes and could do the whole project unlike the other painter who would only be spraying kitchen cabinets. Needless to say it went terribly.  Tim and Joe came around 9 am everyday and would leave for lunch around noon for an hour or more. Then they returned from lunch they would basically straighten up and leave for the day.  The project was going very slowly and they would move on to other rooms without completing any of the rooms that they had started to paint.  We had given them 1/2 of the project cost upfront and I provided/paid for all the materials needed for job.   Plus provided another "bump" of $$$ because they needed extra cash.  It was when they asked for another bump of $,$$$.00 that I put my foot down and said they needed to finish at least the Kitchen dining room, and hallway before I could pay them any more.  At the rate they were moving I would have had them paid in full and not have one room completely finished.  My husband asked them to leave because they were unwilling to cooperate.  I haven't had another painter in since these guys left because I had scheduled the our hardwood floors to be refinished.  We had the floors done by Dave Bucanon Hardwoods and they are beautiful and I couldn't be happier. They did a beautiful job and his crews were very hardworking.  I will be having my house painted this week and look forward to finally getting it completed.  I did contact Tim to ask him why my kitchen cabinets paint is easily scratched off and hasn't hardened. When I sent him and picture of this his response was it looks like a monkey did it.  I didn't have a response for him except -WOW.  Anyway, I have pictures of there work, text messages to and from them, calls to Reineke Paint Store and Sherwin Williams.  The kitchen cabinets were not properly prepped for process that was to be done.  I have been in contact with several well established paint companies and have written reports from them on why my paint isn't adhering to kitchen cabinets properly. Basically a mess and will cost way more to have this job done again.
