"Sir im sorry you are having an issue with your gfi outlet. Gfi outlets are designed to break the circuit when water grounds the power source. Christmas lighting is inherently open to watet penetration due to the open socket on the power line. You gfi outlet is doing its job by breaking the circuit when water is present please allow to dry out before using the lights."
