WEST COUNTY IRRIGATION

I was closing on a house during their peak busy season. The owner Jeff was able to somehow fit me in, get my system fixed, and certified all well within the time-frame we had! The new buyers were being picky last minute and again he jumped into action drove out of his way and got everything perfect for them!

We used them in the past and dropped them, because my husband wasn't overly pleased with the quality of their work. We've used them for about 10 years. They were the ones who installation of our sprinkler system. Then my husband just kind of got frustrated with the quality of their work. He also thought they were high priced. They came out and did the work as promised. They didn't go above and beyond. They did the bare minimum. They're always early to appointments. They send out different technicians each time they came out.

They were the company that installed the irrigation system here and had serviced the previous owner of the house. We took the owner's recommendation that this company knew the system and could service it. We moved in in early Spring and didn't have a lot of time to check around before we needed to get our system open. We called them and the did it. We stayed with them through the first year. They were okay at first. When we started having problems with the system, they didn't fix them. At least not so that they stayed fixed. They did some things that needed done and they did them professionally but it turned out that there were other issues that were related to what they fixed. Its not what they did caused the problem but the problem existed and they didn't recognized and tell us about it. They didn't give us a price for fixing it. They just fixed what we called them about. For example, we had to have our main connection replaced but then there were some issues with the connecting pipes. Now, the main connection with the water system was fine but then it highlighted that the connections had leaks in them too which we didn't notice because the main valve was leaking so bad that we had to turn the system off. They fixed that, they fixed it fine, it works great but they didn't go any further to see if there were other issues. The system is over 20 years old, you expect some problems. They weren't very proactive in checking it. Their price was reasonable. What they did they were great. It was just that they didn't detect other issues or if they did, they didn't tell us about them.

We finally decided to have an irrigation system installed after years of talking about it. We asked our friends and family who had one, and got the names of 3 companies who's work was recommended. West County Irrigation was the low bid by quite a substantial margin, but i was still comfortable because we knew someone who had used them in the past.
Jeff the owner showed up on time to do the estimate, and walked around the yard with me for probably 45 minutes on a Saturday morning discussing differnect optionm he promised the bid early the next week and I received it in the mail the next Tuesday. We were preparing to go on vacation, but from from the time we said yes installation began in 2 weeks time (as promised) and took approximately 4 days (the first day they couldn't do much because the company marking the underground lines didn't arrive until late in the day).
I honestly don't know how i could be much happier with the work than i am. The crew leader Mike was very professional and made sure i understood the why's and what for's of the installation, and took great pains to make sure i understood some minor design modifications from the plan. He went so far as to ask when our family showered to make sure the watering didn't affect our water pressure. He walked me through how to program the system, and how to do minor adjustments to the spray heads themselves. Every single time i picked up the phone to call someone answered, and gave a quick response to my question. While installation does take a bit of a toll on your yard, Mike went to great pains to cut away and replace the sod where possible,
I would happily recommend them and their work.

ALWAYS PROMPT. PHONE CALLS RETURNED PROMPTLY, SCHEDULED WITHIN 2 HOUR TIME PERIOD, AND ALWAYS ON TIME. TECHNICIANS PROFESSIONAL, AND DID NOT RUSH THROUGH JOB.

THEY DO A GOOD JOB, AND COME WHEN THEY ARE SCHEDULED TO COME. IT SEEMS EXPENSIVE WHEN YOU HAVE TO GET A HEAD REPLACED. SOMETIME THEY DON'T CALL YOU BACK TOO FAST IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION.
