We had an old asphalt driveway that had been topped at least once before we moved in 30 years ago and, with many deep cracks and crumbling where it met the road, it needed to be replaced.  We obtained 5 bids that ranged to as high as $7,900.  The Althoff bid was one of the lower bids and we were impressed with Jim's professionalism when he came to inspect the driveway.  The work was done in two days by a crew of 4-5.  The first day, the old driveway was removed, additional foundation rock was applied as needed and the foundation was compacted.  Two days later, the asphalt was applied and compacted to a width of 3 inches.  
The new driveway looks great!  Jim and all his crew were polite, friendly and clearly accomplished in their craft.  The driveway will be sealed next spring and we will provide an update at that time.  
Absolutely happy with Althoff Contracting and recommend them enthusiastically.

The job was completed on time, even though we delayed twice, the owner worked with us.  His crew were professional and did a great job and cleaned up afterwards.  Owner was on site for the job and he worked hard also.
They replaced an old Asphalt driveway, which was an oversized two car driveway.  It took them two day from start to finish and we were very pleased with the contractor.  We would recommend them!
