I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and the price struck me as a bargain. I'll certainly be back.

My husband feels they are honest and trustworthy. My husband works about a block from them so he drives the car over there and they take him back to work which is very nice.

He's been going to them since 2008,2009. I don't know how he found them, I think a co worker told him. There's been a few times where the car stayed the night because they couldn't get the parts. 

I think their prices are excellent. It's a small shop I have never seen more then two guys. We will use them until we move out of here.

Drake Automotive are in our neighborhood and they are very reliable and honest. Pretty much, everybody in the neighborhood, once they've tried them, they use them, because you can count on them. About six weeks ago, they did some suspension work for me and brakes. They know what they're doing. They'll save you money, if you can. They won't fix anything that doesn't really need to be fixed. They won't make anything up. They're honest. I guess that's the main thing, they're honest, which is very valuable in auto mechanics, especially when you're a women. They give you a ride back to your house, if you live in the neighborhood and they'll come and pick you up when it's ready. Their prices are competitive. I've go to other stores and priced the same job and then called up Drake and asked them for the price. Drake's is always the same or a few dollars from the other's prices. I know Drake will tell me the turn. If that noise wasn't really what they said it was elsewhere, Drake would be straight and say, "Oh, you don't need that. It's just this." It might be significantly less. Once you try them, you'll stick with them. They don't have to have a loyalty program or anything, they're just good. If you need your car fixed, they will get in as soon as possible and take care of it. They're closed on weekends, so you have to work around that, but they're responsive. When you bring your car in and you walk in the door, if they're both working in the street. The bell rings and within 30 seconds or so, they're there at the counter and they're taking care of you. They find out what you need and you're on your way.

All of my experiences with Drake are positive. Their shop only has two bays (it's a remodeled gas station), so it's not a bad idea to call them ahead of time to see if they can fit you into their workload.

Great...as usual. The Drake brothers have been our go-to guys since the 90s, when they found a problem with my wife's truck that another mechanic could not fix after many tries and several hundred dollars. With another vehicle, they found a problem that the dealership failed to find and fix on two separate occasions. The rest of the car repairs they've done are a little more middle-of-the-road, but I have never had to have them fail to find and fix an issue.
