It was great! They knocked it out in one day. They were professional and accommodating. They are local and they will work with you even their schedules are busy and take care whatever issues you have.

This company was recommended by the trustees at my church. My furnace was failing to turn off correctly and I suspected a faulty contact wire somewhere. Tom, the owner/operator, returned my call within 20 minutes (I left a message at 9:00am) and was available to look at my furnace when I got home from work in the evening. His inspection revealed a faulty contact but he also noticed a damaged heat exchanger (my existing furnace was over 20 years old) and recommended I replace the furnace. At my request, he provided an estimate for the work. There was no pressure applied to purchase a furnace from him. His estimates were at the low end of those I received and I went with Anders because they were recommended by trusted friends. I received two estimates from Tom. One was for an 80% efficient unit ($1150) and the other a 95% efficient unit ($2200). The estimates included installation and additional materials costs. The owner implied that they were very firm estimates and the final cost was exactly what the estimate said it would be. Again, there was no pressure applied to choose the furnace itself but there was a detailed explanation of the two units and the owner was able to easily answer all my questions. Installation was done on a Saturday and there was no extra charge for having the work done on a weekend. My old furnace and an even older and unused hot water heater were removed and disposed of by Tom. Installation was swift. The two men were careful not to damage anything and covered my floors with drop cloths. They worked quickly and were very pleasant and professional. They left no mess or hint that they had been in my house or garage. They did not complain once about having to work on the roof or in the crawl space (in January and in Missouri). Post installation there was an overview of the new unit given as well as basic instructions about claiming the federal tax credit. The owner also registered for a longer warranty on the furnace company's website so that I wouldn't have to. At this point I can find nothing to complain about. I'm highly pleased and will recommend this company and its owner to anyone who asks my advice on a heating/cooling pro. Should the AC need work this summer Anders Air will be the company that I call first.
