Wow, Ken and his team did an amazing job. I hired them to remove essentially an entire main floor of wallpaper, patch the walls, paint the walls and scrape/repair/paint the popcorn ceilings. My house looks amazing! They showed up on time, communicated and were affordable. You may be reading these reviews and think "Wow, looks too good to be true" but it is not. Hire Ken. Ken and his crew did a wonderful job! Lot's of attention to detail and the house looks wonderful. They really put a lot of time into prep work and it showed. Very dependable. Great communication! The two painters involved did a great job of painting our house. They were efficient, cordial and considerate throughout the process. They gave careful attention to detail and provided excellent coverage of all areas. The price was reasonable for the amount of time and detail required.

I do not fell it went well, Because now the man is recovering from surgery, The wall is still torn up , I have to find someone to repair the wall , But you know I do have to say I was worn about using these sites to find repair people . I am so unhappy with this .

Do yourself a favor and hire this company! This was a BIG project! We needed the ceiling redone in huge areas of our home. It took 2 1/2 weeks to do and involved us moving all things in closets to our basement and pretty much living out of our basement and kitchen. If you are going to do something like this and have people in all areas of your home, you want the best, most skilled people, nicest people possible. That certainly describes everyone in this company! They were all extremely good at their jobs, especially Tim, Dawson, Jane and Zach. Tim is a true artist with texturing ceilings...his work is beautiful! He is also super friendly and gave me a tour every day of the progress. Jane was also so friendly, good at communicating and technically skilled at painting. But really, EVERYONE involved, including Ken the owner treated our house like their own houses. They did a lot of small things and some big things that they didn’t have to do to make the process as easy as possible for us and to give us a lovely finished product. They also clean up thoroughly, which, given the huge mess ceiling removal creates, is a huge help! I give them my highest recommendation and would want them again for any project involving painting!

Ken Turner, the owner of Turner Painting Company came to my home the day I called and spoke with him about repair and painting of some walls and a ceiling in my home. He looked at all that needed to be done, explained how everything would be repaired and painted, and gave me a very reasonable bid of $750 to do the work. He set up an appointment for the work to be done. I gave him a check for $150. I had all the paint that would be used for the job, except for the foyer ceiling. Ken let me choose the color I wanted, to match the walls, and the cost of the paint was included in the bid. The appointment was for 8:00 A.M. and the painters, (Jane and Jake) were at my home about 5 minutes early. Jake sealed off the area around the foyer, got the old peeling ceiling sanded down, coated, and painted. He carefully took down the little chandelier, and did a perfect job. Meanwhile, Jane repaired and painted two small areas in the kitchen. Unfortunately, that can of paint had dried up, so she went to get a quart of paint to match. She then went upstairs and took care of a wall that had water stains on it from a leak in a pipe on the roof. The leak had been repaired, so it was time to repair and paint the wall, which she did perfectly. They left for lunch, to give the walls and ceilings a chance to dry. They painted everything, and finished the job by late afternoon. Cleanup was perfect. You would never know that scraping had been done. The owner, and the people he sent to do the job were all friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and proud to do the jobs perfectly. I would certainly use this company again, and I would recommend them to anyone needing repair and painting at their home. This is a family owned business, and I have found over the years that family businesses have pride in their company, and are usually perfectionists. Jane told me if I have any problems with their work, they would be happy to return to make sure I was happy with the outcome. I have no doubt that they do every job as well as they did mine Jill

KEN TURNER CAME TO MY HOME AFTER FINALLY AGREEING TO PAINT THE METAL PIECES around the can lights on the ceiling. He refused to remove them to paint them. I didn't want the paint to stick them to the ceiling. He told me if that's what I wanted he would leave. So yes, I told him to leave. He also told me he never contacted to paint those metal pieces, only the ceiling. What??? They're part of the ceiling. I needed my kitchen ceiling painted white as when I remodeled our kitchen we had it painted a taupe color. It was too dark so we wanted it back to white. Ken Turner came to give me an estimate and because I wanted it done asap I didn't get other bids but accepted his $700 bid. I gave him a deposit of $100 on Dec. 7, 2017 and as agreed, 2 men showed up to paint on Jan. 2, 2018. I first asked them to remove the metal pieces around the can light fixtures in the ceiling so when they were painted the paint wouldn't run under and stick them to the ceiling. One of the men tried to remove one and said they don't come out. I was puzzled by this since I thought I had previously taken them out but my ladder had broken so I couldn't get up to reach them. When they finished the job, I realized they hadn't painted the metal pieces at all. Stupidly, I paid them. They convinced me that was the original color and I wouldn't want them painted. Yes I was stupid. So I paid wrote a check for the remaining $600 and called Ken the next day. He insisted painting those wasn't part of the job. I called other painters and asked and they all thought it was a stupid question. Of course they paint the metal rings. You have the gist of the story. Now I will have to pay someone to take out the cans and paint them. It is so ridiculous that Ken won't do what is right that it's hard to imagine.

"Painting metal can light trim is not part of painting a ceiling. Actually I could understand your anger if we HAD painted them. They have a baked on finish from the factory that may not hold the latex paint for ceilings. I finally told you I’d come and paint them just to make you happy but when I showed up on time to do that you insisted I disassemble them. I’m sorry but I can only take a favor so far. We painted your large kitchen ceiling twice and it looks good. Telling me to have a rotten day as I left hurts because I was trying to do what you wanted just not the way you wanted. These aren’t your typical white light rings held on by a spring mechanism these are bronze colored and a screw in type and should not be painted. The deal was for 8 hours of work. They sent 2 painters and completed the work in just under 4 hours and they did an amazing job! Would highly recommend. The price also includes three gallons of paint I requested so I could have some left over to touch up if need be (I have two small children, so it's almost guaranteed).

Painters arrived on time and did a very professional job. I had other painters prior to these that left an absolute mess and didn't do a very good job. Turner's painters taped off the trim and put down drop cloths to protect our carpet. We were very pleased with their professionalism and timeliness. We bought a deal for 2 hours of time and they stayed after the alotted 2 hours with no complaints or requests for additional money. Would definitely recommend.

We purchased a new home and needed the entire place painted. I saw the reviews on Angie's list for Turner Painting Co., read their website and decided to go with them. I had so much that I needed to organize that I didn't shop around, I just decided to have faith in the good reviews I had read. I contacted Mr. Turner by phone, told him that I needed his crew to come the day after we closed. I had hoped to have the entire place painted before we moved in furniture and as we were moving in boxes and smaller items. He had the day available so I asked if I could make a down payment to secure the day, paid him $500 and we were set to go. I arranged for Mr. Turner to meet me at what was to be our new home during our buyer’s inspection and from there he was able to give me his price for the job. The inspection was a bit chaotic for various reasons so I told him Mr. Turner that I would look over color options and contact him via email to let him know what colors I would choose. Mr. Turner assured me that his crew was going to do a great job and that I would be very happy with the work. I felt that he wasn’t just giving me his pitch. Something about him felt right and I had complete faith. When I asked how long the job would take he told me roughly 2-4 days depending on the weather. If it rained his outdoor crew would be available to paint indoors and the job would be done sooner. I let him know that my husband and I would work to stay out of the painters' way so that they could have the elbow room to knock out the job as soon as possible. He told me no worries, his crew could work around anything. So day after move in comes and Mr. Turner show up with his painters, Jane and Zack. They verified my color choices and rooms, then quietly set to work. My husband and I had had a miserable day the day before because our seller had been a nightmare. He left unwanted furniture, clothes, and junk in the house, storage unit and garage and left the home filthy. The decorative moldings and trims were so filthy with nicotine that the painters had to wash them down to get the masking tape to stick. We were still dealing with the seller, who not only violated his contract but who became very abusive to me and our real estate agent when we tried to get him to pick up what was I intially a couple of truckloads of items. So our painters came into a home of high stress and anxiety. It's hard to describe how they ended up doing so much more than provide a professional painting service. But quite honestly they were like a balm on my soul. They were simultaneously professional and personable. As we worked around each other, painting and moving items in we engaged in small talk and with each passing hour I felt more and more as if no matter what our seller did or did not do, it was all going to be just fine. This team of two finished our kitchen and dining room on the first day and masked out our living room, which was no small feat because we had a fireplace and a lot of fussy, decorative molding to mask out. On day two it rained, which made me happy because that meant the outdoor crew would join them and our work would be done faster. So two more men showed up who were also very professional and who did a wonderful job working around us. The four of them managed to paint the living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, untility room and large hall before the day was out. We were amazed. 2 coats and beautiful work. By the end of the day Jane and Zack, who we came to learn is her son, were putting final touches on the hall. The other two men had finished and were gone. We chatted with them as they wrapped things up and I realized 2 things, it was wonderful to have such a great job finished so fast and I was going to miss them. Yeah, it was like that. They painted away the bad juju and by the time they were leaving they felt like old friends who were moving away. The paint job was beautiful, cleanup was thorough and they left us touch up paint. Before they parted Jane told me that if over the next few days we noticed any bad areas, to call and they will return to make it right. Bottom line, if you are like us and don't know where to turn for a good painters, I can't see how you can go wrong with this company. I am including a picture of the living room. For purposes of time and cost I had them paint the walls only, the trim is the original paint.

It turned out fine. It was a good price for what they did. It was hard work getting that wallpaper off. It’s hard to take wallpaper off and they only had 4 hours. It took a short time, just a few days to get out after I called.

I called serval painters for an estimate to paint the inside of my garage. Two never returned my calls, two wanted me to send pictures, but Ken Turner was the only one who actually came to look at the job and give me an estimate. On the day he said he would start he and his crew of two arrived on time prepared to start. His two helpers were very professional taking care to cover everything. Upon completion, everything was cleaned up and put back. They did an excellent job! I intend to use them again for additional painting.
