The first project I asked Randy to do was to widen a closet doorway and install two doors. He arrived on time, communicated well, cleaned up, and had an accurate estimate. The final project looked excellent! For a second project I texted him a picture of some cabinets that needed re-anchored. He was able to stop by in a couple days and fix them up. While here he installed hardware and hung a new door for another room. He again delivered excellent service at a good price. I would definitely recommend him.

I called Randy on 12/3 at Noon to schedule an appointment for work order. He confirmed that he would go to property the next day 12/4 and provide an estimate to complete work. I contacted Randy on 12/4 at Noon to see if he had made it to the property, at that time Randy informed me that he refused the work. He did not call, send an e-mail, or text message to confirm that he would refuse the job, I had to call this guy. And when I asked why he did not call me to let me know that he was refusing the work, he became frustrated and started cursing me out. I would not use some one that cannot stick to their word, or provide any update within a timely manner to confirm that they will not accept a job.

"[Member Name Removed] first of all the cursing did take place only after the gentleman started in on me. The company he works for is a so called mantiance provider for rental properties based out of Utah. On further investagtion the company has so many bad reviews on paying contractors, deleting work orders or just not paying contractors at all. So I did not proceed with the estimate. Being a small construction company I wasn't going to be stuck with a large labor bill and materials list on a company with that type of reputation."

"I just don't do that if I have a appointment I show up and I wouldn't let sombody wait for two days for a estimate. I don't know of any one that would wait either at least I would think that they would call"

Randy is a multi-talented craftsman that accepts nothing less than perfection which I suspect is what keeps him so busy and on occasion hard to get in touch with. But, that said we are completely satisfied and plan on using him again soon to install new railing around our stairwell and another bathroom remodel.

They were great. The whole process is very easy and we weren't even at home when they did it but they were in and out. Everything just turned out great. He's efficient on giving us another quote for a certain job that we wanted to be done.

First of all, he was on time which I appreciate as a mom with two kids under five whose husband is also deployed. With that being said he was not the most friendly person. I got the feeling that we were not good enough for him and I felt stupid even talking to him. I wanted a quote on a kitchen and bathroom remodel, but after he was done looking at the kitchen, I did not even bother asking him about the bathroom. I will spend my money on someone who not only has knowledge, but also good customer service.

"I'am sorry [member name removed] felt this way. I was being as professional as I normally am. I've been in business over 9 years so I feel I been doing somthing correct in my business. . [member name removed] wanted her kitchen enlarged and a bathroom decreased. She wasn't sure the exact things she wanted in her new kitchen, layouts appliance types size & locations, I felt she was overwhelmed with my questions. [member name removed] wanted a support post moved from the middle of the kitchen island without structural engineering. I replied Iam probably not the contractor for her, and Iam sure their is some contractors out you can find to do the job without load calculations and design. Again Iam sorry if that was to direct but my reputation and business is at risk to do work that is not up to code and local regulations"

Randy was very professional and accommodating. As a first time home buyer going through the first cycle of home repairs, I felt lucky finding someone who does quality work at a reasonable price. He will be doing any future work on my home.

Great. Showed up on time. Steady worker. Always consults for decisions when needed to keep project on track. Very careful about cleanup each day and making sure plastic sheeting is in place to contain dust.

Randy showed up on time, took care of a lot of details like picking up parts and ordering components. Very impressed with cleanup each day and attention to dust containment. Randy also had good ideas for resolving some tricky trim areas where the shower door was near to a cabinet. We have asked LRB for another bid for additional work around the house.
