Installers are contractors and not employees. Required payment up front. These two alone removes any leverage from the customer. Purchased through an agreement between Joes and Costco.

The carpet installers showed up and left the old carpet from the previous installation job. They said that that and my old carpet would be picked up by the evening. Thevold carpet was not picked up until Tuesday around 3. The installers left a big mess. There were tiny scraps spread throughout the house. They did not vaccum the rooms also like they were supposed to. The installers cane back out on Tuesday after I sent pictures proving that it was not vaccumed. When they showed up they were really rude. Also they said they would credit Joe's for the vaccuming. I mentioned it to the sales person and I did not get that credit. It went into the companies pocket. They are a joke and have issues.

He is a little bit old fashioned, but he's a small town guy who's trustworthy. He did a great job at a very reasonable price. He's friendly as well. The owner is actually the one who's there every day, and he's very personable and very trustworthy. I would most certainly use him again in the future if I needed to.

I was very pleased with my experience with Joe's Carpet. The sales representative, was helpful and the price of the product was very good. I am extremely pleased with the installer Christopher Croft (sp). Chris and his helper Byron worked very hard to complete my job on time despite some product delays. They were professional and very good at their jobs. I am very pleased with the outcome and am very proud to show my new floors off to my friends and family. I would definitely use this company and this independent contractor again.

First they showed up earlier than expected without calling to install the granite and my contractors were not ready for them. So we rescheduled for the next week and when they were bringing the granite slab in the front door, the granite broke and fell on the marble floor in our entryway. It was very cold outside that day and I think the stress on a 12 ft piece trying to work it around a tight corner was too much for it. I understand accidents happen but this set us back one week where no work could be done until the granite was installed. The installers insisted on bringing the replacement slab in from the side of the yard which meant I had to clear off the steps on the side of the house which took me about an hour. The whole purpose of bringing it in that way was so the one piece seamless 12' back bar would not have to be seamed. So after clearing the steps so they could bring me a seamless 12' slab, they brought in a slab in 2 pieces that now has a very obvious seam. Then the installers cut into the wallboard in 3 places to make the granite fit into the space. I guess they didn't measure correctly. This left wallboard patching that I had to pay for and a mess on the floor that wasn't cleaned up. Plus the granite had scratches on it that my contractors pointed out so that I wouldn't think that they had scratched it. So, in closing, I would NOT recommend Weber/Joes Carpet for granite countertops, as they sub contract it to another company. The installers were very nice and felt terrible about the mishap, but the company should have done a better job of handling this whole incident. We were not compensated for this other than patching the chips in the marble floor.
