Barnhart Security did a stellar job. They worked with our organization (Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Grandview) to maximize what we needed at a price that was very reasonable. They were highly responsive and professional. They walked us through every step of the process and cared enough to ensure that the job was correctly implemented. I highly recommend working with Barnhart Security and would work with them again.

Vape Shop got broken into 2 times so I decided to get a better alarm system. I called Barnhart and told him exactly what I wanted. He didn't try to sell me more or less. The price was very reasonable and got it done on the agreed date. Highly recommend for any kind of security service. He is very experienced.

Working with Barnhart is a pleasure.
Our monthly monitoring for the price is a great fit for our budget. Given the complexity of the church building, Barnhart was able to set up different zones of security. And the 24 hour phone service is a big help in case of false alarms or service problems.
In our most recent service call, we had a battery go bad in the main panel, which apparently is uncommon, and Barnhart came out to replace it immediately. Also, they noted that we need to upgrade to a wireless notification system, and they did that at a reduced price for the church.
We greatly appreciate the service that Barnhart has given us.

When I moved in to my house it had an old security system that did not work.
I wanted to update my system but wanted to use as much of the old system as possible. I did not want new holes punched in the wall, new wiring strung thought out the house, etc. But most of all, I did not want my security system monitored by an outside organization because I did not want to get involved with a contract and its associated fees.
Steve was the only person who was willing to do the work I wanted without insisting I use his monitoring service. He was the only person willing to customize my security system instead of forcing me to accept a ?one-size-fits-all? security solution.
Steve made sure all my security sensors worked or replaced them. He replaced all my fire alarms. Installed a new CO2 monitor, new motion detector lights, security panel, keypad panel?and the list goes on.
I was very happy with Steve?s work, attention to detail, and the cost of the project.
I would definitely use Steve again for any future home security needs.

Everything went very smoothly, and we changed a couple of things on them at the last minute. The installer came in and did the install, and came back a couple days later to check on something we had a question with. We don't have to deal with them anymore, because the alarm monitoring services are out of another state. Everything has been working fine the last couple of years.

I bought the Big Deal before I moved. The only problem I had was weeks after the installation the business was sold to another vendor. I was needing follow-up so they did transfer me back to the original vendor. It was a little concerning to me that they were sold so soon after they did work for me. I had some problems with the initial installation. Someone had to come out and reinstall some some of the equipment. I like the system a lot but overall it was an average experience.

"I'm a bit disappointed at this reply, as I personally bailed the customer out of a bad experience with the PREVIOUS company. Once I found out the customer was needing service, and that the previous company did not end up selling the contract, I immediately responded, (like same day) to her request. I went out, addressed the concern's, and immediately took care of the problem, and all at no charge. I even ended going out again, and immediately took care of her concern. The customer again had an issue with the installing company, called me on a Thursday afternoon, 1-10-2013, and the issue was taken care of by Thursday night. I know of no other company that would of went this far to correct someone else's problem."

The system is easy to arm and disarm using our iPhones or laptops. Alarm.com is easy to use. CSG has been easy to work with when we had a couple of inadvertant alarms.
The cameras work well. The only issue we have with Alarm.com is that the cameras activate recording when it is windy and the system memory gets full quickly. This is probably because of the type camera chosen, and we might make a different choice if we were to do it again (it would have been much more expensive).
When we had questions about the cameras and Alarm.com services, the same Barnhart technician that installed the system came to our house and reviewed all the system settings and interface with Alarm.com. This was very helpful in fully understanding the details of the system we purchased.

We were please with the equipment, installation and the professionalism of the person who did the install. The only bad part is that shortly after getting us signed up and post installation of the equipment, Barnhart was sold and our account was transferred to another vendor. I bet the sales person knew this at the time we signed up since the installation person knew about it but was not sure how it would impact us. It has made it difficult to get answers when we have had questions. Other than that the deal was great. We especially like the camera we had installed and the remote light access. We now have access to monitor everything via our smart phone - a nice feature for sure.

Saleman came out and arrived on time. Discussed options an costs of each. Installatioin appointment was set which the rep arrived on time. We did have a couple of issues from the initial installation but the service rep returned and fixed

They installed the alarms quickly at the estimated price. I have had to contact them on a couple of occasions to regarding my secondary pad. They suggested that I unplug the remote until a service technician could arrive, approximately 2 weeks. The reason for the repeat visits was the difficulty in determining the appropriate zone and what was covered. I have also had the police respond when a handyman was doing some repairs downstairs, I forgot about the motion detector in the basement. I forgot to get a carbon monoxide monitor downstairs and plan on adding this piece of equipment to my system.

The installer was very knowledgeable and courteous, asked for my input for the install. He was persistent in getting access in the wall, in a tight spot, to wire the main monitor. He then carefully explained how the system worked, showed me, and had me practice setting and disarming it. He was very thorough and professional.
I would definitely recommend this company. The local service and the out of town monitoring have been very helpful with my questions.

I would recommend them. They had a Big Deal back then, which really sold us. They seemed to be a decent company. We had some minor complaints about the installers and sales rep.
