My AC stopped working & I called them at 8:45 am.  They were out to my residence by 11:30.  He took the time to listen to me and checked everything I brought up.  I told him about a power failure last night and how I felt the thermostat got really hot.  We checked the thermostat and discovered it had a melted connection. We switched thermostat with one I had already, (KCPL replaced my thermostat with a programmable one so I had my old one).  He charged me only $90.00 for the work and he cleaned my AC unit before he left.  I have been using them for 6 years now and they always treat me fair, priced good and never try to sell me extras.  Great company to use if you have a heating or air conditioner problem.

Our furnace quit working during the evening of 12/09/2013, too late to call a company to come out. I called Edco Aire about 8:15 am on 12/102013 and explained we had no heat, and we were referred to them by a neighbor who had used them for years and always had very positive things to say about their service.  By mid morning, Chris, the technician, was at our house to work on the furnace.  He diagnosed the problem, a failed control module, went out and got a replacement, and replaced the module, fixing the furnace.  He also did a carbon monoxide safety check, and was satisfied the furnace was working properly.  We were charged for 1 1/2 hours labor for $120, $212  for the control board, and a $10 travel charge.
We are very pleased with the service and how promptly they came out to work on the furnace, particularly since we were new customers.

Showed up on time and was very helpful in explaining the in's and out's of my particular unit.  They came to check AC and did that plus added coolant to make it run colder. Very satisfied with their local service.

Edco installed our HVAC system when we built our house in 1994 and we have used them for service calls ever since. I bought a fixer-upper a few months ago and Jerry and Billy came out to give me a bid to replace a 5-foot section of double walled flue pipe in the attic which was rusted and badly deteriorated. They also recommended replacing the furnace cap on the roof which was also in bad shape. I had gotten two other bids one for $625.00 and one for $265.00. They weren't the cheapest (but they were close) and I liked the way they took thier time, explained things and they put no pressure on me at all. Now I know why I have stuck with them all these years. They ordered the parts and Billy came out a few days later. Of course the installation went off with out a hitch. After he was finished, I asked Billy how he would recommend that I patch a hole in my duct work and then install a new grate. He went ahead and did the patch for me (no charge) and explained in detail how I should cut a new hole and install the grate. If you need HVAC work done, do yourself a favor and get a bid from Edco - Nothing but great and friendly service at low prices.
