Description of Work: I was having a problem with water coming into the basement after heavy rains, due to clogged downspout and a very saturated ground. I dealt with this for some time getting different estimates and ideas from various companies, all expensive and invasive. Then I found west county home services, I showed them my problem areas and thought they would say we would need to dig up the concrete as the others had suggested and replace the pipe. Instead they suggested we first try to clear the clog on one end and move the downspout on the other away from the house. So, they cleared one clogged downspout quite easily with a water hose, when others wanted to dig it up and replace it with new pipe, this saved me a good deal of money. Then they re-routed the other downspout that was causing a problem, and we did not have to dig up the patio area. They replaced the rotted posts on the patio, cemented, painted, and replaced and repaired portions of my fence that had fallen with Ike. They fixed some small things that had been overlooked before and the fence looks great. When they finished the gutter work and opened the drains they asked to manually check the sump pump to be sure the water was going where it needed to go. Come to find out they found that I had two pumps, one I did not even know I had (new house) it was full and obvious not doing its job, due to worn out pump. So they replaced the pump too. Had I not chosen them, I don't know that I would have found out about the second pump until the next big rain flooded my basement. They did an excellent job. They are experienced in all areas of home repair, and they are very pleasant to work with. I am sure I will use them again soon for other things that I need to have done.
