Fast forward to the end of June. My wife and I found a house in South KC that we absolutely loved, and I made sure to contact Jay immediately. I figured if anyone could help us get this house, it would be him. Within 24 hours, we were pre-approved for the loan with a lender he suggested (Pulaski), and within three days after that, our offer on the home was accepted, with our goal to close in 30 days.
Goal met.
Not only did Jay do a phenomenal job in regards to getting everything taken care of, he was (and is) an absolute blessing to work with (and I don't use the "B" word lightly). He was constantly on top of coordinating repairs with the seller and directing us in how to proceed. Never once did he ever make us feel stupid or ignorant. I feel we learned a lot in this process, and it's because he actually took the time to work with us instead of a) handling everything himself or b) expecting the buyers (being us) to do his job.
All in all, this was an amazing first time home buying situation. I wholeheartedly recommend Jay for any and all real estate needs and would love to answer any questions about our experience (and your potential experience).
