Brat Boy started limping the Monday before New Year's Day. I thought he might have sprained it jumping off the cat condo. By New Year's it was no better. Could not find a foreign object in it but couldn't be sure what the problem was. Called the Gainesville Vet Clinic on Thursday morning and was told to bring him in at 11:30. I was surprised but very pleased to get him in that day especially after a holiday. Dr. Deck checked his paw and concluded he had probably burned it on the heater. She prescribed some medications - oral and spray. She was good with him. She had a little trouble getting him to swallow the pill. He is 14 pounds and strong. He was doing great in about 3 days and was putting weight on his paw again. The pills were difficult but I got most of them in him. I have 6 cats and plan to use her for all of them.
