This is a family-owned, local company (technically out of Fulton) and they are very good. They were professional, helpful, and were on time to the exact minute! Every time I called I spoke to either the owner or his wife/business partner. No national hotlines and "dial 1 for..." service -- these people do it all themselves and they are wonderful. After my things were on the truck, I was able to communicate directly with the driver via cell phone.  I was never out of the loop and always received personal service. I highly recommend this company for in-town or trans-state moves.

I've moved as either an army brat, as a soldier, or as a college student about 23 times over my 47 years of life by my best estimate. In all those moves I've seen everything that could go wrong go wrong. We once had a group of felons show up and seperate our valuables in to "to go" boxes so they would be easily stolen on delivery day. I've seen 6" thick wood tables smashed in half and I've seen movers have a fist fight on my front lawn. So my expectations going into our move from St. Joseph, Mo to Columbia were quite low. However, David White with White Moving and Storage vastly exceeded my low expectations and gave my wife and I a very stress free move. In fact, David and his crew did everything with exceptional professionalism and courtesy. David's weight estimate was slightly under because I had several very heavy items that he was unable to view during his estimate.  Had those items not been moved his etimate would have been within 500lbs. 

In our move of 14,000 lbs of household goods the White team didn't break, scratch or lose anything. Even my best prior moves had some minor damage. I think the key to their success/method is that the team is entirely made of family members or long time employees. They have to live with each other at the end of the day and I think that makes difference. Every member of the team hustled, took great care with our items and acted very professionally. They made a special effort to ensure our items were properly placed and assembled during the unpacking stage and they cleaned up as they went along. When they left our house all of our items were properly placed, unpacked and there was no excess packing materials left behind. I hired a crew frrom my destination city because I felt I might have to wrangle with them if the move went poorly. Now I am glad I hire them because someday when we must move from Columbia I will be able to hire them again. I recommend White Moving and Storage without reservation.

They were fine. We have used them before as well. They did a good job. They are a local company. They treat you like family and are very helpful. They are very cooperative, and they do what you ask them to. The price they charged me is reasonable. The quality of work they do is very good.

These folks are very efficient, kind and go above and beyond the 'job'. When it was going slow on the second move, and I wasn't finished packing, they jumped right in and helped me finish. This was not part of the contract but I appreciated it immensely.
