Computer Sales
Computer had crashed entirely. The cost to repair Jamie quoted me was approximately $250 and I couldn't justify it as I already have a laptop. I lamented the loss of hundreds of family pictures I had scanned one by one to the hard drive. Very time consuming and a disressing loss. Jamie ( the owner) said he could get my files off of it and proposed he do that if I let him have the computer for parts. Win - win!
I called a week later & he hadn't done it yet. A week after that, same story. I waited a couple more weeks and he had no recollection of me, the computer or the bargain he proposed. He asked me to decribe the computer (!). His attitude about the one he parted out was very "oh well"; I recieved nothing for my computer annd numerous precious (to me) files and he considered the matter closed.
A couple months later (against my better judgement) my Dad sent a computer over to him for repairs. The repairs were extremely expensive as we had to have another computer repair shop fix what the Mouse Pad screwed up! And of course we had already paid Jamie for his "services". He had knocked a whole $15 off the cost of Dad's to make up for the loss of my other computer and the files.
See "Yahoo Local" for another review that is as low as possible to give, from a customer I do not know.
