Overall I was very pleased with the experience I had with this vendor and would recommend them readily. The final product with the skylights and the roof was exactly what I desired. I gave the vendor a "B" grade for and responsiveness because they are a smaller operation and don't have a full-time person in the office to answer the phone. The crew consisted of the owner, Kevin, Kevin's two sons and two other employees. It seems Kevin is onsite for the duration of each job so when I called it often took two days to get a response I assume because he is out on other jobs vs. being back in the office. This is probably a very good thing for quality but gives them less than instant responsiveness. Kevin's price was $2,000 less than another Angie's List top-rated contractor so he gets an A++ on price. Additionally, I was present while the crew worked onsite and the team are all true craftsman and do flawless work so they get an A+ on quality. They replaced 40+ squares of shingles with multiple gables on multiple pitches with many valleys in a a day and half so high marks for speedy work as well. I asked for one small change during the job requiring more expensive materials and Kevin didn't even adjust my final price even though I requested the change to the job scope. If you aren't in a rush to have your roof done by next week and can wait a bit to give the Kevin and the Crew at Boone Valley a chance to get to your roof, you will not be disappointed in the final product. My neighbors have commented on how nice the roof looks.
