This is the second time I have used this company. I had our roof replaced last July, 2018 and was pleased with the work. I called Jim again needing our gutters inspected, and he is very fast at getting back to you and getting estimates that we needed quick due to our house being under contract. After inspecting, we found out that our gutter was clogged and one had a broken strap that was causing the gutter to overflow causing the small leak in our basement. I definitely would recommend St. Louis Roofing & Renovation LLC.

This is a followup review. Jim said he would send his foreman out to look at remaining leaks from the gutter and from our skylight from when he replaced our gutters and roof. Gutters were replaced first, then were leaking a lot so they came out and redid them, but still had a few leaks. Roof replaced, then we had water stains around our skylight, and again, Jim said he would send his foreman out to take a look. The foreman called and said his guys would come by, so just the guys came by, but they couldn't speak English very well so we were not able to communicate with them very well, but they did a fix on the front of the roof where one gutter leak was, so we'll see if that did it. The shingles don't lay flat there now, but maybe the leaking is fixed. The guys walked around on top of the roof around the skylight, and again, couldn't tell us what they did. Talked to Jim today, and he said the guys didn't do anything because the problem is with our skylight and he could give us 10% off and install a new skylight for us. We indicated there was no leaking around the skylight before the roof was replaced, and he said that 200 lbs of walking around and replacing a roof could have an impact, so in the process of replacing our roof, we now need a new skylight. We specifically asked all roofers we talked to when choosing who to use if they could handle roofing around a skylight, and went with Jim because we liked him the best when we talked with him. We are accustomed to having a roof replaced once, and not having any more issues or extra work needing to be done because of negative "impact" from having the roof replaced. We're disappointed, and it looks like from other Angie's List reviews others have had better success here with the company so we're glad for them, but it's not been the same experience for us.

Jim was great to work with. We had our roof completely redone (tear off) and he was always available to answer my questions and got back to me in a timely manner. All work was done as promised and punctual. His bid was very competitive and that’s why we chose him.and would hire him again!

Jim Lawler, the owner, did a great job, totally to our liking. The new gutters have solved two problems we had: overflowing rainwater on one section and no backup interior leaks on another section.

I give them an F across the board. As it turns out the roofers didn't know what the siding people were going to do and the siding people didn't know what they gutter people were going to do. There was no coordination.

They were very friendly and very professional. My gutters were a mess. They put the gutters in, cleaned up the mess, cleaned off my car and my neighbors car, they cleaned everything up. They were great.
