LEVAN'S LAWN & LANDSCAPE

Levan's did our mowing last year and part of this year. Last year's service was fine; however, due to several issues, we switched companies. The attention to detail was simply missing this year. While the yard was mowed, it was no longer trimmed (doing edges with a weed whacker.) It looked sloppy. I could sort of deal with that. What got me to change was when I called to schedule extra service. I specified a spot in the FRONT where I wanted the invasive crab grass removed. When I came home, my back gate was wide open (this happened several times) and a mess was in my back yard. My irises in my BACK flower bed were ripped up and all over the place! I called Levan's to ask what happened. A very apologetic woman said someone would call me back. About an hour later, another person called, saying they would be back to finish the job. I told her I didn't want that job finished, they did 1) the wrong area and 2) mistook irises for crab grass! This second person ARGUED with me that they would be back out. I finally said no, don't bother, I no longer trusted them. We agreed I would receive a free mow and call it good. The person that called to argue with me ended up calling me several more times (when they were coming out.) I'd had enough, and cancelled service as soon as I got another company, but not before they gashed the wood in the leg of my kid's swingset and bent a metal rod in my gate.
