JEFF THE TREE MAN LLC

How did it go? It went perfectly. Jeff had stopped by my house 3 days ago, while I was working in the garden. He was working for a neighbor & said he could take down the low branch that was hanging over the sidewalk and almost touching the front lawn (making mowing the lawn a literal pain in the back.) I told him we had already contracted the work with someone else (Ray's Trees.) He asked about the stump he'd spotted, which we hadn t asked Ray s to do, & offered a good price to remove it. I agreed. He said he d be back in a couple of days. In the meantime, a different company, who had promised to do the work within 2 weeks, had kept us waiting for two weeks and then today they gave me a date in two MORE weeks. My husband and I had chatted over dinner about finding someone else & Jeff's name came up. Coincidentally, Jeff knocked on our door shortly after dinner to say he was ready to grind the stump. We took the opportunity to ask for a bid on the rest of the work, adding one job we hadn't given the other company. Jeff gave us a competitive bid, especially attractive in light of the fact that he said, "We're here, the tools are here, my crew is here; let's get it done now." Jeff and his crew completed the work, put the limbs through the wood chipper, cleaned up after themselves, put their tools away and were done in less than 2 hours. Jeff was also generous about answering my many questions about my Crabapple tree. I appreciated their professional attitude, the crew's obvious work ethic and the fact that they are a local company. Jeff has my business for all our tree work, and we will consider him for other work his company does, such as power washing and landscaping. We are glad Jeff s initiative made him stop and offer his services, and we are very pleased with our luck in finding Jeff the Tree Man.
