Douglas Concrete & Construction

The old garage foundation was falling down so we had to fix that, and elected to fix all the concrete at the same time. Doug, the owner, was responsive and his company checked out with the BBB. He estimated a week and a half to do the work, and finished in 10 days, even with at least 2 rain days. He handled the permits. The concrete looks great. The steps in the new sidewalk were not what we were thinking: they were much better. My only minor complaint is that the crew did not do a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I found a sandwich wrapper by the basement door and there's a place in the yard where it appears they cleaned out a wheelbarrow and left the sludge (now hard). There were also some cig butts, and we don't smoke. Other than that, they were great. A couple of the workers even petted the dogs when we brought them outside, much to the dogs' delight.
