 + -1 moreI can't remember having such great, friendly, prompt, and inexpensive service in a log, long, time!
Description of Work: I called the shop at about 9am on May 21, 2012 and the friendly voice on the other end told me to bring my vacuum cleaner in, they had the part and she could probably install it while I waited. Skeptical, I took my machine in arriving at the shop at about 9:20am. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the young lady I spoke to on the phone. She immediately hoisted my machine up on a service counter and began taking it apart. My beater bar was replaced but when she realized the machine still wasn't suctioning properly, she took it apart further and unclogged it, cleaned it, and then tested it to make sure it was functioning properly. All this was done in less than fifteen minutes! By 9:55am I was back home!

 + -1 moreImmediately when I brought my vacuum cleaner into the shop, the owner took apart my vacuum and showed me the cracked part which was causing the problem. She told me how much the part costs and the total repair cost on the spot. Also, that my vacuum would be ready at the end of the same day. My vacuum was not only repaired but also cleaned inside and out, new belts and filters installed--even cleaned of paint scuffs and made shiny on the outside! (This was way beyond what I expected.) The replaced part was about $16 and the total cost $50, which I think is very reasonable. My vacuum now works great!
Description of Work: Upright Hoover Windtunnel vacuum cleaner --a belt gear part replaced with a new one, the entire vacuum cleaned well inside and even outside, installed new belts and filters.
