Immediately when I brought my vacuum cleaner into the shop, the owner took apart my vacuum and showed me the cracked part which was causing the problem. She told me how much the part costs and the total repair cost on the spot. Also, that my vacuum would be ready at the end of the same day. My vacuum was not only repaired but also cleaned inside and out, new belts and filters installed--even cleaned of paint scuffs and made shiny on the outside! (This was way beyond what I expected.) The replaced part was about $16 and the total cost $50, which I think is very reasonable. My vacuum now works great!
